im not surprised as even the 100m boxset didnt sell that well and they were a lot more popular back then.

Who is Jezza?

Bucketfinck78 05-27-2024 09:45 AM

I want a physical format :/

Roll 05-27-2024 10:39 AM

I hope they won't call it a boxset if they don't release it as a physical item :p

Stream it and put out a physical box, great quality-wise and expensive for the few ones who want it for ****'s sake

I know. Sorry 😞.

With a Digital Release, wouldn't you be able to buy a song(s) you liked instead of the whole box-set? One advantage over physical?

Disappointed, as I still like Buying CD's in this Digital Era....

P.S. Can a Moderator, amend the title from 2023 to 2025?

I'd love it if a full version of Rumble in the House exists.

If I remember correctly, back in the day when they had the Q&A section on their website, Obie answered this very question by saying that no full song was recorded but that it's just the snippet one can hear in the commercial.

I'd even take that version in a high quality.

This makes the most sense - the physical set won't be cheap, but they can at least go to town and include a nice book etc.

If much less successful bands like Dog’s D’Amour (and endless others) can afford to produce a physical box set, then so can Jon.

The tight arse.

But no animos if we only get a digital release. Honest.

Agreed, and I'm not convinced it's the label that don't want physical either. Labels are all over deluxe box sets that they can charge through the roof for at the moment. The "super fan" is a big market for labels right now. I'd put money on getting some sort of physical version...even if it's a limited run type thing.

I used to love the dogs back in the day, Dynamite jet saloon, Erol Flynn and Straight are awesome albums, great live band as well, proper drunken rock n roll as we called it back in the 80s

Iv actually still got a grave yard of empty bottles first pressing as well. Tyla was /is a great lyricist

Fingers crossed we do. Nothing against streaming, just always prefer physical CD/LP to listen and collect.. My moneys here waiting!

Agree - such a great band. Still listen to those first 3 albums regularly.
