I'll start it off... Just weigh in and I'll continue to revise as we go...

Note: Even if we think a title turned into something else, lets still list it and then we could always put a note in off to the side... Lets not assume anything... For starters, it could be a totally different song and second, it could have a totally different sound like All In The Name Of Love turning into Staring Out A Window With A Suitcase In My Hand.... Or I'd Die For You... The thing is, if you sing the song with the old title, most don't fit so the songs must be very different...

The other thing is, even if we don't think that a Studio Recording exists, getting a soundboard recording of the song would be equally effective so lets continue to include those too...

Lastly, when Burning Bridges got release, a song list including Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning was posted... Can someone find that?

7800:
Danger Zone (I wonder if this was written for Top Gun?)
Afraid of the Night
Heart Of America

Slipper When Whet:
Notorious (Jon's version which is stated to be much different than Loverboys)
Deep Cuts The Knife
Too Much, Too Soon (Never Enough)
Game Of The Heart
Lonely Is The Night
Take Me All (I’d Die For You)

New Jersey:
In America
Cadillac Man
Rosie
We All Sleep Alone
Fighter For Love
Purple Rain (Cover)
So Close, So Far Away (Song they gave to Hall and Oates - did Jon demo it?)
Peace In Our Time (Is there a Jon only demo?)
Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Keep The Faith
Revenge (Keep The Faith)
The Right To Walk Away (Bed Of Roses)
The Sole Truth

Crossroad:
Only In My Dreams (Jon's vocal)

Destination Anywhere:
All In The Name Of Love (Staring At Your Window)

Sex Sells:
Shadow Dancing
Someday You'll Ride Wild Horses
Life's Too Short For Days Like These
Even Bad Times Are Good Times
Even In Your Imagination
Good Ain't Good Enough
Sex Sells
Forbidden Love

Bounce:
Crying
Mona Lisa

Bounce had a second Sad Song Night and a song called Alone

Keep the Faith had All Wound Up and Skin Deep

The Circle's pre-release torrent didn't list anything out of the ordinary other than it including This ain't love and Saturday Night..

Was 'Dont Say Goodbye' turned into 'Never Say Goodbye'?

And maybe 'Even bad times are good times' turned into 'Welcome to the good times'?

This House is Not for Sale
Rage of Angels

Rdkopper 07-05-2017 10:24 PM

Great updates... I was 50/50 on including the basement demos from Slippery... I guess it can't hurt... even if we could get a first generation copy... But I really think what we have is as good as it's going to get

Great call on Let It Rain and some of the other titles...

I feel like we already have this even though the quality is a little off...

Have a Nice Day
Nothing
Who Says (with Keith Urban)

Cool... I'll note that down with Even Bad Times... There are extra words in this title which throws off the whole melody... So this implies that the original might be different...

Dont Say Goodbye was a minute long intro / snippet Jon did for Never Say Goodbye... It's only been on record of this song getting played one time... I'd be happy with a Soundboard...

Kiss the Bastards, written by Jon, Dave Sabo, and probably someone else and was in Saints & Sinners CD between Blaze and KTF

Elvis in Vegas for Meatloaf
I'm blanking on the name, but a song for The Beach Boys a few years ago.

Maybe Jon recorded at least a bare bones demo of those.

Oh good ones! Summer's Gone was for the Beach Boys.

I was thinking "Summer's End" and knew it didn't sound quite right. Thanks!

steel_horse75 07-06-2017 12:43 AM

Just Like A Princess from HAND.

Becky 07-06-2017 03:06 AM

In These Arms is a hybrid of a song Jon and David wrote called "Water into Wine" and one Jon and Richie wrote called "If You Were in These Arms Tonight."

bonjovi90 07-06-2017 03:09 AM

Wasn't there a song registered called "All We Are" during the WAN era? I seem to recall that there were two or three more in the songwriter's database at that point.

bonjovi90 07-06-2017 03:10 AM

Jon wrote a song for the Peter Pan movie in 2003 and praised on how great it was, but didn't give it to the film in the end. Unfortunately, I've never heard him mention that specific title.

Great Memory! Sounds very familiar... I just spent 20 minutes searching and I can not find anything on this though.... I still added it with a ?

Anyway according to that 2014 thread the song was for The Circle, not HAND. Even so, I can't find a single mention of the song otherwise and really want to find the interview it came from.

Here's that fake Burning Bridges tracklist that you mentioned in the first post of this thread:

“We Don’t Run”
“Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning” (The Circle)
“Mona Lisa” (Bounce)
“Nothing” (Have a Nice Day)
“Who Says You Can’t Go Home” (feat. Keith Urban) (Have a Nice Day)
“This Ain’t Love” (The Circle)
“State of Our Union” (What About Now)
“Shine” (What About Now)
“Times Like These” (What About Now)
“Beautiful Day” (Finding Neverland)
“Start Your Own Revolution (a.k.a. “Reunion”)
“This Is Our House” (Greatest Hits)
“I’m Giving Me to You” (What About Now)
“I’m On My Way” (The Circle)
“Second Chances” (The Circle)
“The Ghost of a Good Thing” (The Circle)

And here's the article that posted it:
http://ultimateclassicrock.com/bon-j...-track-listing

I also remember coming across the title "I Watched Her Walk Away" from the Bounce sessions.

Also there was a song Jon write for the Kevin Smith smith movie circa 1992. Mallrats maybe? Not sure what the song was called off the top of my head though.

Captain_jovi 07-06-2017 02:24 PM

OH yea, he wrote a song called/for Chasing Amy.

Captain_jovi 07-06-2017 02:48 PM

Bounce demo for One To Say Goodbye that was given to Poets. Early marketing materials had it being included in the box set but it got pulled last minute.

Great Call... It 1997 and got pulled last minute because Midnight In Chelsea was being released as a single and the label didn't want two songs out at the same time...

I updated these titles below...Can anyone confirm them? If not, I'm going to delete them! Maybe these songs from The Circle were on that torrent?

I'm going to answer my own post:

They were on that darn Torrent and the songs were registered too

https://drycounty.com/jovitalk/new-b...sunday-t69127/

https://drycounty.com/jovitalk/bon-j...le-era-t69513/

I still need clarification on this one “I’m Giving Me to You” (What About Now)

They all sound familiar, but I have a file of it saved at home which I can't access until tomorrow. There was one point where a lot of songs got added to some songwriter's data base and I seem to recall that these were the ones. At some point there was a switch from one database to the other if I'm not mistaken, so some might've gotten lost.

See my post above in regards to the two links I attached...

In addition to everything stated in those two threads, you have to figure that there are a few unreleased songs from The Circle... I don't think they wrote 30 songs like they did in the old days but to just write 12 and release 12 is not the norm for any band (and the 2, 3 or 4 that made it over to the greatest hits)...

Rdkopper 07-06-2017 03:31 PM

Wow!!! We have more songs listed here than what's on the original Box Set (and I'm not even including the ones in black like the Basement Demos)... There are probably a handful of titles that we never even heard of sitting in that vault as well... Double it...

I'd even be happy to get half of them. Someone should send this list to Matt and Obie and kindly say, "Give Us These ****ing Songs, Now!" I seriously think if we got this list to Obie and a little pressure from us fans, we could get some of these. (Again, if it's not in the studio, we'll take a live soundboard)

Rdkopper 07-06-2017 03:32 PM

I'm going to add "It's Only Make-Believe" I know it's a cover but there is live footage of Jon recording this in a studio back in 1995...

What the heck, I'm going to throw Drummer Boy and Silent Night on there as well...

Was this really for Bounce?
I remember the discussion about this or a similiar song title prior to HAND. Back then speculation went wild that this might be a hint of being the last album. I remember it well because I became a fan after Bounce and HAND was (TLFR and the Box Set excluded) the first "real" album release I witnessed as a fan.

Yep, Poets released in 2003.

According to Jon and Richie's track by track interview for the 2010 Greatest Hits "If You Were In These Arms" was just a title Richie had on hold but there wasn't a song yet. They just used this title for Water Into Wine because they couldn't get the chorus happening.
