Bon Jovi were only a band for 12 years when they played that set. 12 years ago from today was Bounce... Can you imagine if their career was from Bounce to BB.

Also up to 1995, 6 studio albums, 2 solo albums (Jon&Richie), and 1 compilation. = 9 albums

Now 13 studio albums, 5 solo albums, 5 compilation, 4 disc box = 28 albums

They've done 3 times more after the golden years then they did prior.

But sir, all I had were nice things to say.

Absolutely, way scaled down. Saturday Night Fever disco lighting, and what's with the wrinkled sheets in the back -- have they been forced to resort to taking in laundry?

But remember, between the Vancouver scam and their not getting a record deal advance, there may have been unexpected cash flow problems. Dressing everyone is black doesn't help, either.

I like the smaller stage. Hopefully means smaller venues. No point in a massive stage if JBJ isnt using it.

Whoa. Jon's voice cracked on BWC, of all songs

Surely smaller than on Because We Can Tour. But the stages on Lost Highway and The Circle tour were pretty small. The stage is also very basic and boring everytime they are playing far away from home, like in Asia, South-America or Africa.

that actually makes a lot of sense. Perhaps they really needed this tour for the money. It's not like Jon has personal money issues (least I doubt it) but the band's cashflow and liquidity may be on the downside.

The wrinkled laundry sheets were in Singapore too but not Bangkok IIRC.

If they didn't really need the money from this tour when they set it up, they probably need it now.

The rumors of an Asian tour began in late March, and was officially announced in mid-July along with the release of Burning Bridges. They announced the split with the label a month later in Vancouver (a show that was not a money maker), during which time they probably added the title track. Losing those China gigs had to have hurt financially, too, despite their being able to replace them.
