Cold In The Night

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWIBw...ature=youtu.be

This is live and no tune ups or bollicks...no ear monitors...just pure bareback rock n roll

Javier 05-16-2013 12:31 AM

I'm loving this band right now! The singers voice used to irritate me but now I dig it somehow... One of the best albums I've heard in a few years too...

KeepTheFaith2211 05-16-2013 12:38 AM

sambos apprentice 05-16-2013 03:22 AM

I like them all, but like Panda, I got to disagree. What It Takes live is just... amazing, totally the highlight of the show.

Des Child is a genius!

I wouldn't say it sucks necessarily, but it's not that great. Borderline boring, actually.

Cryin', on the other hand, is fantastic.

sambos apprentice 05-17-2013 02:22 PM

joke band but amazing song and solo here

DevilsSon 05-17-2013 04:35 PM

Great! This should be Sticky and I can't believe that we only have this thread now.

Bush feat. Gwen Stefani doing Glycerine. I just love this song - poetry with electric guitars in the background.

Bizzarely - the end of it sounds like the bass line to You Give Love a Bad Name for whatever reason...

Life Goes On is one of the most perfect power ballads the world have seen. People tend to insult Poison too much, but they have pretty nice songs.

Soft spot for that song too, been in that exact situation as well. Plus she's smoking hot..!

My random pick for the day
The love and energy in the room for that acoustic performance was unbelievable! (I was there!) Proper goosebump moments!
But if you like your rawk music, this riff will melt your face off

Andi

Yeah great stuff. Love Alter Bridge.

Spidey5150 05-19-2013 09:20 PM

Orianthi and Cyril Niccolai performing an acoustic cover of Use Somebody. I absolutely love this rendition...

sambos apprentice 05-21-2013 01:53 AM

the maestro!

Javier 05-23-2013 08:42 AM

I'm just in one of these kinds of moods today:

Javier 05-23-2013 08:44 AM

And before I forget, I wanted to post something by this band from Spain. The songs in spanish but I know a few of you will like it:

Crushgen24/88 05-23-2013 11:20 AM

I'm not a big Coldplay fan, but I absolutely adore Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, and this live version is fantastic.

ezearis 05-23-2013 10:59 PM

Speaking of Coldplay, this is the song that made me start listening to them: .

X&Y is their best all-time album PERIOD.

Panda 05-23-2013 11:55 PM

Coldplay is great.

Kinda cliche, but Yellow is still my favorite song by them. The piano intro they've been doing this past tour is really really good.

RIDICULOUSY UNDER-RATED ALBUM AND SONG!

samboraisgodUK 06-01-2013 12:03 AM

I defy anyone to post a better instrumental acoustic guitar song. This guy blows people like Andy McKee away for my money. It's a perfect example of beautiful and extremely difficult technique sounding very, very good. Often what's technically very difficult to play sounds rubbish and what sounds great is easier than you think.

The proficiency to be able to hammer on and pull off like he does, whilst playing percussion and at times the rhythm guitar part is much more difficult than the Ewan Dobson one. It just doesn't sound as good either for me, it sounds like a mid 90s-early 00s dance song.

Just remembered this song, it might be one of the best Power Ballads I've ever heard:

Still Alive ...spine tingling

Two awesome songs, they both are on the b-side compilation. I love Still Alive.
