BJ LPs...

I'm just very excited because I just bought three Bon Jovi LPs in Half Price Books! Whilst browsing around the store I came across Bon Jovi, 7800, and New Jersey, and I couldn't pass them up. I guess they don't often get kids in there buying hair metal vinals, but hey, it was a good deal. I'm listening to Bon Jovi right now, and while the quality isn't nearly as good as CD, it's good to hear what the original album sounded like.

I don't know, probably not a big deal to anyone else, but it made my evening.

know what you mean, I got Lp's from Bon Jovi to Black Flag to Rush and even Irom Maiden. and somehow I feel like I own something special maybe is because I'm young but damn I guard those Lp's like treasure.

I have the first 4 albums on vinyl (US editions). I have a lot of other Bon Jovi vinyl as well.
The Oompas claim that the last Bon Jovi album released on vinyl was Keep The Faith. That means I'm missing one.
The problem is, is that I've NEVER seen it on vinyl.
Does anyone own it or has seen it?

Same thing happened to me last year. I found the first two albums in vinyl at half price books. They were only a few dollars and I just couldn't resist buying.

I have seen These Days on a double record in England.

Yeah, I've heard These Days was pressed in England, but Keep The Faith was the last one in the US and I want it! :)

I only have one vinyl BJ record and its the 'Please Come Home For Christmas" limited edition picture disc. Apparently it's one of only 7500. I'll have to dig it up cos I have no idea where it is at the moment.

Well actually vinyl is better quality than CD. Obviously it is at a disadvantage due to the fact that it degrades and any slight bits of dust pick up on the needle, but it is actually better quality.

CD's sample the sound, so you don't get the full wave. DVD's have higher sample rates, and DVD-A and SACD have yet higher sample rates but none are actually as high quality as a vinyl.

I have the vinyl single of Living In Sin. My friend Shay was given Bon Jovi and 7800 Fahrenheit on vinyl as a gift for Christmas. I've tried looking for some record stores in Toronto, but haven't been too successful.
