How to dismantle a new U2 album
 

With the new album leaked on the net over 24 hours ago, the label has lifted the embargo and now one of the local stations, Triple M, is playing the entire album song by song.

While the circumstances may not be right, its going to be a great morning of radio listening!

Sorry mate, I have had it for just over a week now. Had it on repeat ever since. Its freaking awesome. I wasnt much of a fan, but I got the greatest hits a fortnight ago, and once the new album leaked, I downloaded it, and i am really impressed. 'Miracle Drug' and 'A man And A Woman' are my favourites off the album. :)

So where is my copy Kevin?!

I was only reiterating what was said on the radio.

I believe the SE comes with a bonus DVD (videos of studio performances of songs and usual videos etc.), the SDE is sort of a box set containing the SE plus a 48-page booklet.

well, as I only have the mp3's of the album itself, I would say for you to purchase the SE edition. You cant go wrong with a nice bonus DVD....much better than a crappy booklet that will just be full of pictures. If I was a big fan, id definately go for the version with the dvd to watch as well. :)

I have downloaded it also, its the worst album i ever heard.

I'm part of the way through it now and I think it sounds awesome so far. I really like All Because of You, City of Blinding Lightsand of course Vertigo. They have a great rock edge to them. Love the direction this album is going so far. Orignal Of The Species seems like a good mid-tempo song at the moment.

heard a couple of songs off it and to me it just sounds like u2 ie bring out a classic tune once every 5 years (which none of these are) and spend the rest of the time making millions doing stuff just about any decent band out there could come up with just because you're u2.

Today i watched Vertigo's video for first time and have to say it is aawesomeeee!!!!

I don't really care for Vertigo, it's not that great. I will have to give the rest a listen before I buy.
