Sex Sells???
 

hi there,
remember before the release of crush, jon said that the album would be called "sex sells" cause he's got "a great song with that title" if any1 remembers, do ya think there are chances that it's on the box set? if i recall it correctly then jon also said later on that "it didn't even make the tape" :roll:

As far as I know Jon said in an interview that since the demo "Sex Sells" didn't make it as a b-side on any of the Crush singles it would most certainly be put on the box set. So keep your hopes up, I for one think it will be included.

I really hope it is. This is one of the songs I've always wanted to hear.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Sex Sells would have been a much better album title than Crush IMO

Yeah, Crush is too generic. It doesn't really mean much of anything. Besides, Crush is the title of about a million songs.

The grass is always greener on the other side, I suppose. Though it's safe to say that if the album was called "sex sells" then a million people would be pissed at jon for being vain. *shrugs* Can't please everyone, I guess.

I would have liked them to call it Sex Sells. It kind of has the same feel as Slippery When Wet: rock with a hint of dirtiness.

Sex Sells was a very different album than Crush ended up being. The listening party showed how weak the SS demos were.

Yeah i agree there. Although 'Rich man living in a poor mans house' seemed like a good track. I hope that gets included on the boxset.
