It's the best live album, ever. By anyone. Pretty much. And I'm not even a huge Metallica fan, just like some of their stuff.

Metallica...

I find all their albums (bar black one) 3/4 good and 1/4 drivel.

St anger was all rubbish. Death magnetic has good songs but we're long for longs sake.

Hopefully the ones back on track

I really like almost all his albums. The first 5 are incredible. Load and Reload are irregular, but from the point of view of production and composition are very interesting, they wanted to do something different. Was not so bad. A lot of songs that I love; Until Sleeps, King Nothing, Hero of The Day, Mama Said, The Outlaw Torn, Wasted my Hate, Bleeding Me, I'm My Bich, The Memory Remains, Fuel, Unfogiven II, Prince Charming, Low Man's Lyric....

St Anger is certainly the worst album. In that period, they were going through a creative and personal crisis.

Death Magnectic is a throwback to the old days, it is like revisiting the classic albums but giving it a more modern touch. I love those songs but I hate the production, it was a very uncomfortable sound wall.

Lulu, was an experiment that ended up being a dud.

Hardwired To .... Self-Destrutor, my expectations are good, they will not make a great album like Ride The Lightning or Black Album, but there is something in the sound, and choruses that I like, I feel this album will a tribute to the sound of the Black Album, Load-Reload and Death Magnetic.

Devil's Dance, Fixxxer, Bad Seed, Where the Wild Things Are, Low Man's Lyric, Slither - great rock songs. If they were released by some lesser-known band - they might even be considered classics.

Absolutely loving the 2 new songs. They are superb.

I agree. In these days, they sound great. Fortunately it is not Lulu. When I hear the two songs in a row, I feel hardwired has grown even more, I think this album will have songs varied and listen to the whole album is going to be an interesting and rewarding experience.

I can't wait hear the song Murder One, METALLICA revealed that this song from its forthcoming "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct" is a tribute to late MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister and uses many of his songtitles in the lyrics. Shortly after Lemmy's passing, Ulrich penned a lengthy tribute to the MOTÖRHEAD mainman in which looked back on the influence Lemmy had not just on METALLICA but also on him personally.
