Right - I see ~20-30 bands every year, but hardly ever do I get as excited as when I am about to see IRON MAIDEN. Two hours of pure energy. And let's face it - there is no better frontman out there than Bruce Dickinson. The only one who was comparable IMO is Freddie Mercury. Presence, charisma, energy, intelligence and most importantly VOICE! Most people can actually learn a thing or two from Bruce.

It's another reminder that my life is slipping away too quickly!:)

Only seems like last week that my CD arrives through the post.

I just can't afford it this time around. Can't believe its been 3 years since I last saw them, between 2005 and 2009 I saw them every year except 2009! Hopefully they'll do an album next year and be back soon.

The new setlist is killer in my opinion. Love it.

I was so unbelievably bored when I saw them a few years back a couple months before their new album came out. Compared to the somewhere back in time tour which I saw 2 years before that, it was night and day. The energy was so low and boring during the nineties and 00's set. Boring and almost lifeless. No Run To The Hills? No Powerslave? No 2 Minutes 2 Midnight? That's like Bon Jovi not playing Prayer, Bad Name and Bad Medicine. But then again I'm there to see the classics, never much cared for their new stuff.
