I bought Have a Nice Day "Mastered for iTunes" back in 2012 (just out of curiosity) as that and Slippery When Wet were remastered that way that year.
I listened to it and checked the waveforms on Audacity (comparing them to the CD version) and, whilst it wasn't a night-and-day difference, the Mastered for iTunes version sounded slightly punchier and there didn't seem to be any clipping (or at least as much) compared to the original CD.
I didn't bother with Slippery When Wet as I thought there is no way it would even compare to the original non-remastered CD version. Same for the other pre- These Days albums. I think the only albums that stand a chance of sounding better on iTunes are anything from Crush onward.
