And is that "hard rain" reference in Brothers In Arms meant to go in the same direction?

I see both rains as some sort of the "movement" from American Reckoning that Jon believes it's happening. Something like "let the rain fall and the waters wash away all our sins, all our prejudices, all that pre-judgement over others actions. When it finally purifies our souls 'that day you know what all of this [fights] were for... Let it rain'."

I tried to analyse this in Blood In The Water thread. The whole bridge is narrated from a different, ironical viewpoint showing how some things work in today's society.

Yeah, the first verse is about Trump's administration; the second and third about the lyrical speaker and the bridge is Trump speaking. But I don't get if there's something behind the "I'm the star of anarchy today" part.

I don't know about other countries but I guess it'sll be the same. Here we have some extremist people who get inspired on various websites. Usually Russian-paid and supported websites that inform people on their own way.
So "I'm the star of Anarchy Today" is said by someone who follows such website/online newspaper and who a frequent commentator in the comments section. We have such people here who "starts" of comments sections.

So "your shadow sold you secrets and he's gonna do some time" is about Michael Cohen.

Hmm, in my book Trump is an anarchist meets dictator, so in my mind the whole bridge is Trump talking, yeah.

"I'm no cable news reporter, they got nothing new to say" -> the fake news shit, his disliking of reporters, etc.

"I'm the voice of the new order, the star of anarchy today" -> his putting himself over everyone else, believing that only his views are correct, etc.

"I'm the comments you keep reading at the bottom of the page" -> his tweets

"I'm real power, I'm a patriot" -> how he thinks of himself and repeatedly states in public

"I'm a russian hack by trade" -> him knowing he's only been elected because of some russian hackers (not that that's proven by any account, but I'd like to believe it's true :-D)
