I neither see the similarity not the point, since this thread is about Jon stealing from others and Kidnap An Angel was probably written when Taylor Swift was in diapers ;-)

Just read a comment signaling similarities between LOAP and Candy's Going Bad by Golden Earring (a band from the early 60s still in action today)

Jon has said in interviews, jokingly, that he's stolen from songs. He does it. It's not coincidence. Obviously with so many chords overlaps will happen but it's clear as day when some songs are inspirations for Bon Jovi songs.

i think i understand what he meant by "stole it" but it's not in exact copy and stuff...and i'm sure the original one also has the idea from another song also..i am a song writer also..and sometime some chords from another song speaks to you and we can write it in different music...

if he did that there's no way you can be sued coz it's not illegal...unless you copy them exactly like the original..it's different case..IMO

There are just too many examples of songs being a little TOO similar in order for us to believe that (My Chemical Romance's I'm Not Okay vs Novocaine, the demo of Someday I'll be Saturday Night vs Soul Asylum's Runaway Train in which case the engineer said Jon brought in a copy of that song and asked for it to sound like that). Some Bon Jovi songs sound a LOT like other songs, it's how okay you are with that, thats the thing.
