You could write a book on pop songs with G-D-C, I don't think it means they're ripping each other off. I never bought Say it Isn't So as a Third Eye Blind rip-off either, it's just a real common chord structure in pop music.

N100Y always reminded me more of All Around The World.

I should have clarified that I was referring more to the extended outro/jam being similar to Champagne Supernova, albeit faster.

But yeah, having listened to the above I would agree that the main body of N100Y has definitely been influenced by it.
