What do you expect from Story of Love:

A big Rock song.
A Country song.
A ballad song.
A generic Pop song.


Thoughts.

Since that song reflects on parenthood and family, I guess "A ballad song."
And remember that on the other day article it said "expected to drop in January", so we will hear it soon.

Bland song in auto tune with a piss poor solo.

A mediocre, uninspired ballad with Jon sounding like a robot and Shanks delivering another bland solo.

I expect an average boring run of the mill jbj song . But am hoping for a fast paced 4 minute plus gem with big drums big guitar and some old school synth . I dont mind if its an instrumental either because Jons voice is horrible now days .

Middle of the road, pop/rock, kinda catchy with acoustic rhythm guitar is my best guess.

Best guess, it's going to be reminiscent of "We weren't Born to Follow".

I guess it'll be some middle-of-the-road pop drivel in the vein of What Do You Got?

I'm thinking it could probably be similar to 'Real Love' or 'Labor Of Love'. At this point I'm not expecting anything new or unique because based on the past few BJ albums It will just be repetitive,the same old overprocessed or underproduced songs with flashy new titles.

Hope It isn 't a ballad

I hope it will be a darker, rocking song with an interesting structure and kick ass solo.

But I'm 99.99% sure it will be a 3'30'' verse / chorus / verse / chorus - no solo - bridge / chorus song about living my life everyday.

Please prove me wrong.

Will be a midtempo catchy but nothing remarkable song. Just like What About Now the song.

I don't have a link to it, and it's been posted a few times and then taken down (more than likely a copyright claim) but if you look up #bonjovi2020 on instagram and scroll through all the reposts about the new tour dates, you'll find a 37 second video which I believe is a leak of a part of the new song. It includes vocals that sound like Jon's, slightly higher than normal (probably cause someone had to make the song faster so it wouldn't immediately be taken down). It sounds like the verse of a song, so it doesn't include the name of it, but I'm guessing it's The Story of Love since that is the most likely song to have any leaks right now. But I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Do with this information what you will.

If it's the clip I'm thinking of it it's fake and not Bon Jovi at all, It's a Johnny Lima song. How people are getting fooled by this still is beyond me.

I think this is a ballad, a love song for the family. It is almost a waltz, I could picture daughters dancing with fathers on a wedding day.
I think that Jon is so much closer to his family now (maybe specially after Stephanie's situation and after his "3 dark years" as he had already mentioned), and he is talking about love in other ways, his lyrics are more mature, as he's said, that he wouldn't write another "bad name", not at all.
It is a light and sweet Beatles like song, cute but with powerful lyrics. I cry everytime.
