Seven Days question

I've tried to search around, but haven't found any helping information.

Seven Days sung by (Jon) Bon Jovi, written by Bob Dylan.

When was it recorded?

I've just figured out that Jovis Seven Days was the same as Dylans Seven Days on his Bootlegg Series 1-3. That was released in 1991, but the Jovi version sounds much earlyer.
When was it recorded and does anyone have some background information?
Is it a Power Station song? It does include a saxophone...

Anyway, it is a great song, but versions!

Thanks for any information!

Aloha !

Seven Days was a song they sometimes did together with Social Disease on the Slippery When Wet tour. There's a very good recording of it available, but I don't know where and when it was recorded.

Salaam Aleikum,

Yeah thanks! I got the recording of it.
However it does include a horn section and a saxophone.
Is the hornsection played on keyboards by David? I can hear a piano when the horns play too, so that would be weird.
Did ever Bon Jovi perform with a horn section? That would be a sight to see!

Thanks a lot!

http://www.bonjovi-archives.com/ tell us that it was performed:

January 4 , 1990, Wembley Arena, London, UK
Seven Days, a cover song, is played live for the first time ever.

January 7 , 1989, Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK (probably 1/10/90)

This make sence. Thanks again.

I like that they did a rare Dylan song, at that time unrealeased, atleast by Dylan himself.

There is a studio version also, that plays over the end credits of Access All Areas.
