Lyrics on "Always" live @ Wembley '95

Can anyone tell me what does Jon say at the end of Always in the 1995 Wembley concert?? (the part which is not in the album version) I think I get right what he says but it's to be totally secure about it. And in my opinion it makes even better the song!!

thanx people. see ya soon

Through the wind
Through the snow
Through the driving rain
Id crawl over coals baby baby baby
To be back in your arms
Just to taste your kiss
Just to hear you say 'baby
Im alright on a night like this'
Yeah!

Mongoose 03-10-2004 01:39 AM

yes, it's been posted a million times before and a millions times incorrect!

it's not "crawl over coals", it's "crawl all the way home"!

and I always thought the last line was "Just to hear you say baby, I'm alright when your'e not there"

....and don't forget the emphasised YEAH!

donna's version is more correct. he also does a similar rant in i'll be there for you from yokohama 96.

Marijke 03-10-2004 02:21 PM

No cause I like his voice when he is on stage I don't mind what he sings then! Even a santa song is okay!

Gadden 03-10-2004 03:06 PM

?

on the album version of always what does he sing at the end?

oh baby dont you do me no wrong
oh baby dont you leave me alone

?

thats what i hear.

RS8MB0R8 03-10-2004 03:18 PM

"Oh baby don't you love me no more?"

That's what I think it is anyway.

RichieW2001 03-10-2004 03:21 PM

i'm trying to remember the gig but he sings 'baby don't yuu do me no wrong, you don't love me no more, yeh yeh yeh yeh yeh etc'. i'm pretty sure its yokohama 96 but i'll have to check.

There's no way his speech in Dry County at Count Basie Theatre '93 which is on the Japanese import Dry County single is spur of the moment - it's scripted. The opening speech might be spontaneous but the one before the killer solo isn't. It couldn't be - it's too damn good! :D
