Where was Tokyo Road?
Did the band ever tell the story behind this song? Was it about a specific place?

i imagine it is related to the fact that Japan is the first country where they broke large and became superstars.
And any story about a Japanese groupie can turn to a song of this type ;-D |
On this particular tiltle, "Road" refers to touring, ie. "being on the road" not a physical place. Like Hetfield sings "And the road becomes my bride".

my English sucks but JBJ words were something like this: TOKYO ROAD lyrically is a bar and somebody's memory. The album 7800° Fahrenheit is about touring the world the last year at that time with success, about raw energy from youth to youth, about being wild and young and free and goofy...
