Phil X Departs / Sambora back ??
 

Phil has officially joined the Kurt Deimer band , announced on twitter early hours of this morning 3/8/21.

Should we read anything into this ? Have Jon/Richie had secret talks about possible reunion in 2022 ?

Seemed to come out of nowhere, let the rumours commence .

Nothing about “ special guest “ though … clearly states phil has officially joined the band as new lead guitarist, could be a joint thing I suppose , but would non allow an “ official member “ to do that , I’m not so sure

that gave m some h0pe... if he is a full time member i believe there will be some changes.. i doubt jon allows the guys to play wherever they want which may cause program conflicts for one..
even if that was the case though jon would still stick to phil just for safety, or perhaps shanks gives him that nowdays...

ps. Phil x is respected in the band and fans for sure but he doesnt fit in the band, and its obvious by hiw role, his part, everything. in fact it seems like jon never gave him a chance.. or maybe he early on realized he was there only for the guitar pyrotechnics and nth more

Is this really any different to Hugh playing with the Rock Vault thing in Vegas? Subject is very misleading.

It's just wishful thinking really that there may now be an opportunity for Richie to come back which is completely understandable. It will happen at some point we all know it will (Even Jon does)
When though who knows and if there's enough left in the tank remains to be seen.
