Mr. Big
 

Hi,

inspired by another thread, I was just wondering if anyone knows what's going on with Mr. Big these days? Are they doing anything new? They're really one of my fave bands outside Jovi -of course- and I'd love to hear new stuff from them.

according to news from my local radio station, Mr.Big were split up since February 2002. I don't know what's goin' on with the band members now.

Eric martin has a new solo album out called "i'm going sane". I just got it, haven't listened to it yet.

But there is supposed to be a live album out celebrating their last tour together. Officially the band is done and no more.

Mr. Big made their Farewell Tour last January, only in Japan. They split up after that. The they released a live album of the Farewell Tour, but only released in Japan. After that, Eric Martin recorded a solo album ?"I'm Gone Sane", and Billy Sheehan is working with Steve Vai.

Mr. Big were a big band, one of my favourites. It's a pity :cry: that they broke the band. They're last album in studio, "Actual Size", was fantastic!!

When was Actual Size made, I never heard that one..? I just listened to their albums today, and it's such gr8 music!!! I'm sad to find out that they are no more... :( But thanks for your replies - appreciate that!!!

Pat Torpey was always my fave from the band... ;)
