Will an Uncut Version of the "Live From London '95" DVD Ever be Released?

Hi guys,

Been thinking a lot about why the Live From London '95 live release did not include a complete show. Maybe it was due to VHS limitations at the time. However, I cannot imagine that they only filmed half of the show professionally. The complete show must have been buried in the vaults for ages now. What are the chances of getting a DVD of the complete show in the foreseeable future, and do you think there are any chances at all?

It was cut because Jon blew his voice halfway through the show and the second half was rather bad (for the band's standards during that era). Hey God and This Ain't A Love Song had quite a lot of vocal parts edited afterwards.
Doing three nights in a row with shows running over 150 minutes was just too much I guess.
Furthermore I've read that the BBC was filming the footage professionally or at least contributed in some way to it. So I don't think it'll be easy to get access to it. If they go to their vaults I'd rather have them digging out a show from Europe in 1996.

1st night full is on YouTube...would be nice to get a remixed/remastered version of this on Blu Ray! Doubt it will happen though...

In the video comments it's noted that Good Guys Don't Always Wear white is cut off and that it has something to do with it being released as a live version on an official release...but I don't recall any release with a live recording of Good Guys. Anyone know what they mean!?

yeah, I know the 1st night is on YouTube but the sound disappears every now and then, which takes way a lot of the overall experience. I wouldn't mind getting a proper DVD of night 1, or any other show of the 95/96 tour. I just don't know if they have any other profesionally filmed concerts apart from the London ones. As for Jon's voice blowing halfway through the 3rd show, I never knew about that. If night 1 can be fixed audiowise, it would be a great release to commemorate that era.

As long as they have the original audio files recorded on the night, there is no reason that it couldn't be remixed and fixed.

Didn't night 3 go out live on the radio? I have the broadcast and never noticed Jon's voice being blown. They did re-do parts of it on the tracks that were officially released, not just vocals, guitars too, but they do that with pretty much everything....

It did, but most of the versions around are compiled from the broadcast and the DVD release. He was very flat on songs like These Days, Bed of Roses and also didn't go for many demanding notes on Wanted, Hey God etc.
Allegedly they do have all shows from the 90's onwards recorded, so they would definitely be able to fix certain parts.

That's just a fault on that user's uploade, Good Guys is available in full on the tape:

In fact, someone tracked down the original production VHS and had it professionaly upscaled to BluRay. We're currently working on fixing the audio with the help of a 1st gen audio tape.

Are old recordings (ones that wouldn't have been able to get doctored back in the day) auto-tunable nowadays? I honestly don't know for sure :D

I can safely say the recorded version I have on my mp3 player has no work done on it at all, As I recorded it off of radio one on the night of broadcast, an dthe only work done to it was the removal of station idents when i converted it to cd!

I havedownloaded a different version of the concert, and did notice that there were differences, so I guess thats one of the ones mentioned before thats a mixture of broadcast & commercially available songs (and the insertion of a song not even played on the night!)

I would love it if one day they could put out a full version, but somehow don't see it happening anytime soon!
