and I wouldn't let the the fans of a band deter me. I love Pink Floyd, but I don't want to frequent a board of their fans. I think the drugs fried them.

Nah - the drugs just mellowed them out LOL. I'm a big Pink Floyd fan too and the Yeeshkul tracker is great. Lots of helpful people over there.

For those that don't know, the Yeeshkul tracker is a Pink Floyd only tracker (mostly - there is some Zeppelin there too). Anyone can join in the fun.

I have never found or really searched for a Rush tracker since there is so much Rush posted on Dime.

You might think the same thing about the Led Zeppelin people but Royal Orleans is also a very nice bunch of folks who absolutely passionate about their band.

If you are getting into Rush you need to have Counterparts, it's not an album that's often mentioned as a classic in reviews of the band but take it from me it is amazing and is also easily their most accessible album.

All in all an amazing band, great drummer, guitar player and Geddy's voice is still incredibly youthful and effortless, he never misses a note.

I'm sure I'll get to it eventually. I'm a bit preoccupied with the 21 albums I already have to sift thru...everything from Rush up through Hold Your Fire plus Roll the Bones and Snakes & Arrows. I do like Animate, however.

I saw Rush live for the first time last year in Dallas. It was an awesome show!! They played for 3 hours with a 20 minute intermission in between sets & had no opening act. They played alot of the old songs & some new stuff as well. For just 3 guys, they can create alot of music onstage & can play their instruments very well. They need to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame SOOONNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
