As for the setlist, sorry, I can barely remember the setlist from Hyde Park, let alone Brum in '89. Although I do rememeber the bass was loud as feck at the start of LYHOM, all you could hear was alec's bass and tico's drums for about 30 secs...awesome.

I remember the year before too, when they did the get ready/Pretty Woman medley, and that they played Homebound Train \m/ That was my first ever gig.

Ahh, the good ol' days..

I know. My post you quoted was from 2005, I don’t think (?!) the band had got back together yet at that point. Hence my RIP, for the band, not Dan!

Sure was. My dad was told he got the last 3 tickets and we had great seats. 2nd level and a block form the stage. When Jon went on the walkway it felt like we aware about 3 feet from him.

We were left of the stage about halfway , yeah when the car walk came down ( let it rock ? ) you could literally reach out and touch , could see the sweat on their faces it was that close … crazy times ! Pyro was great as well , always wondered why we don’t see that any more from them , gotta be the st least 20 odd years since we saw it

If I remember correctly it was that incident, that led to Jon taking the final decision of not using pyro anymore: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_St...nightclub_fire
