Bed Of Roses

I know this happens quite a lot (where just because one song has it's own topic, millions seem to pop up) but please forgive me in this instance.

'Bed Of Roses' - I seem to be one of a fairly small minority that actually appreciate this song, and I don't understand it.

It's a song which oozes energy and passion, has some fantastic instrumental work from each band member and Jon's voice is of course very good as it is from 'Keep The Faith'.

So what's wrong with it? I've tried to compare it to 'Always' and 'This Ain't A Love Song' and I believe 'Roses' is much the better song and ballad.

I love it too :) not as much as Always, but it is right up there with my favorite Bon Jovi songs

This is a great ballad, better than TAALS.

Best regards,
the Sexx

I've always loved this song, one of the favorites for sure.

It's my second fave after Always. Don't see how anyone can criticise it.

SO you gonna kill me for saying that this was the first BJ song I really hated (until now): Cheesier than cheese ;-)

The studio version is magical ...

But now i think that it deserves a rest ... Jon can't hit a note of it

Thing is, though, you can get cheese which isn't actually that cheesy. Specify which type of cheese, please?

WHat I even hate more than the song itself are the lyrics - make me cringe each time I hear the "Holy ghost" part - what were they thinking ???
