Is there anybody except me who really quite likes Everyday? Always see it getting slated so much ...

I like it. I actually like the TLFR version though better than the original. The song helped me get through the death of my mother so it holds a special place for me.

I remember around the Bounce release i actually considered this a better single than Its My Life..

Now, i think i was just a bit cuaght up in the excitement. It IS a good single, lyrics are a bit predictable, but its a totally new sound for them/Richie and I enjoyed the heavy riffing. Its too short though at 3mins, and i would have preferred the solo that richie seems to be doing in it live nowadays.

i hate all those "special effects". sounds a bit over-produced and the lyrics are crap. But live it is damn good song

Def sounds better this tour than it did in 2003. Proabably a combination of the extra guitarist/keyboard player and a proper solo being played!

I've certainly never disliked it. I thought it was good when it was first released, but like someone said earlier, it was probably mostly the excitement of a new single. I also much prefer the TLFR version to the original and it is so much better live on this tour, for me because Richie has totally changed the second half of the guitar solo.

Out of the 3 lead singles this decade, it's my least favourite, lyrics and production could have been better and it could probably do without the sound effects or watever. But it will always be special to me as it reminds me of the time of my life it was released which I value all music for.

Did they add a new / longer solo?

I remember that when I first heard the song, I found the chorus to be trying way too hard to be catchy and anthemic - but failing. And the solo also trying too hard to be "woah" but eventually lacking direction.

Nowadays when I listen to the song, I'm always surprised because it actually isn't that bad. The biggest problem are the vocals in the chorus - the guitar playing during the whole song is really cool, especially in the prechorus, but the chorus just sounds flat as far as the vocals are concerned. I actually like the live version from the HAND bonus DVD better than the studio take. Still, it was not first single-material.

I have no problems with the electronics during the verses, though - they've been doing stuff like that since the first record.

It's one good song and the live version on this tour is alot better than the bounce tour as a lot of you have been saying. I think the song gets slated a lot unfairly, but maybe that has to do with Undivided being the track that preceeds it on the album, wich comepletely destroys it.

It's an average song.

Everyday is the best track on This Left Feels Right. I think it's the only one that has transfered well. I think this may have something to do with it not already being considered a classic like the other songs that were ruined on that album. Unlike the rest we don't listen to it thinking "they've ruined a classic".

That's a really really good point. I never even thought of that. Undivided is great on the album and having Everyday right after it just makes it sound way less powerful.

i don't dislike everyday. but is it in my top 10 or even top my top 20 all time favorite bon jovi songs? no. it's one of those songs that i have to be in the right mood to listen to. i really don't feel the need to hear it live again after hearing it done on the Bounce tour. if they want to do a song off of that album i would much rather hear undivided, the distance, or hook me up over everyday.

i think it's a great song. i love playing along to this on my guitar. i was a bit miffed that they didn't play it at MK 1. i really don't like the TLFR version. come to mention it i don't like any songs on that apart from bad name.

I think they tried to much to do It's My Life part 2. I think the lyrics are very weak, but the guitars are good. And as mentioned, 3 minutes is far too short. I'd say the same thing for Have A Nice Day also.

It's funny, a comment often said by Jon is that they won't take the easy route and write Bad names or Prayers all the time, but they've been doing It's My Life as the first single for for the last 4 years.

I think Everday is a great song, musically really different from what were used to with Bon Jovi and clever lyrics, good chourus and a good solo. Now it would baffle me those who say everday is rubbish but HAND is very good.

If I had to take out on '''''''''''highlight''''''' of crush/bounce it would be everyday, if had to choose on from TLFR it would be everyday so I geuss imo its an OK song

I like Everyday but there are better Bon Jovi songs out there. And I don't really like the TLFR version. It sounds too synthesized in the beginning. I'd have to say it's my least favorite off the TLFR album.

i really like it. mostly because it's the song that got me into Bon Jovi. as a song i know that it's no where near the best, but it's what memories etc that are attached to it as well isn't it?

I really don´t like it at all. Bon Jovi had a great opportunity to get anpther big album after becoming so succesfull with Crush.
Releasing Everyday as the first single was like the worst choice ever.

everyday is a good song, i like the video and liked hearing it this time on tour too was quite pleased when they started the intro to it

Yep, it is a good song. It pretty heavy... heavyer than It's My Life or HAND. And that is what makes it so good!

It's great to see band just on 5 membered...
Now it's almost a mess.....

It's too artificial sounding for me.

Yeah that version of it just shows what it is I like about it, the whole song, especially the riff sounds absolutely huge. Crush was really lacking in proper riff-heavy songs, which is why Everyday sounded really refreshing to me

Maybe the Bounce record would have had more success if Everyday wasn't be the first single but still I like that song a lot... it's not that melodic than IML or HAND but why they always have to be..?

Nahhh... pretty dumb and boring song...
