Tracklisting for TLFR up on BonJovi.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know the tracklisting is up on BonJovi.com. My only complaint is that no These Days songs made the cut but I am still more pumped than ever. Good mix of songs. 14 tracks on the US version. 15 on international. Check it out.

Bad Name? Okay, I'm not going to prejudge, but I will be surprised if they can make that song work in another format.

Yeah :( They were doing Something to Believe In - acoustic - this summer, so I had hopes that it would be on the cd.

ugly_queen_from_mars 10-01-2003 02:09 AM

snif snif.... i don't really like the fact that the tracklist contains the same songs as always but let's hope that at least they sound good.

this looks great

bad name will be interesting to hear

Calyx 10-01-2003 04:07 AM

the reason there is no These Days tracks is because the songs they chose are generally more popular with the general public. I think the band were going with what songs the public want to hear instead of just what the fans wanted to hear so that is why Prayer and Bad Name are back on there.

I guess most of these songs were bigger hits than anything off These Days, even though These Days contains some of their best songs. They may have also thought they could do a lot more with the songs they chose. Most of the songs on These Days are sad songs and creating "happier" versions wouldn't work very well.

That being said, Im also a bit dissapointed that no These Days made the list.... I do like the tracklist though!! :)

ShaSha 10-01-2003 04:37 AM

I hope Bad Medicine is the same version as the one they did in Hartford. That was awesome!

Yeah, but the public already has that album...Crossroad

Stephanie

Arash 10-01-2003 06:43 AM

this list sucks! all old songs just like crossroad, and only 2 songs from almost 10 years!!!! and no song from these days or 7800 fahrenheit....

where is my JUST OLDER????

btw, the cover is great, i would say the greatest after keep the faith, they used a suitcase with all of band's logos in 20 years...

jovi75 10-01-2003 08:08 AM

I know...you can't judge a record by the tracklist but this one really SUCKS...let's wait to hear the album.

Supersonic 10-01-2003 09:08 AM

Aloha !

No rare tracks and no TD tracks. There's no track on it which makes me think: "Hey, that's something I'd like to hear !" Basically they're all songs we already heard acoustic. I even wonder if they re-recorded Everyday or if it's just the same acoustic version which was on the Misunderstood single. Yes, I am disappointed already.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Sambo-Chris 10-01-2003 09:20 AM

Always. Was it really necessary? This ruins the album.

ShaSha you are right, I loved the version. That's the reason why I'm searching for recordings of that show.

Supersonic 10-01-2003 09:21 AM

Aloha !

It's stupid, Jon doesn't like singing it, but he puts in on an acoustic album.

walterjovi 10-01-2003 09:46 AM

where are I'd die for you, runaway, this ain't a love song? the band already cut few ones in acoustic. BTBMB is awesome!!! why did they record it again?

Stut 10-01-2003 10:11 AM

Yum yum, international version has a DVD as well :D

Well I think it looks great. Always, Bed of Roses, IBTFY and Born2Bmybaby make the album for me. Yes I wouldnt have minded hearing a couple of songs from these days, but theyve already put out a version of something to believe in on OWN live, so i wasnt expecting it again. Only complaints id have, without hearing it are Everyday, (which weve already had) and bad medicine, I cant imagine what the accoustic version of it will sound like

Sambo-Chris 10-01-2003 11:19 AM

Bad medicine sounds great. They played it in Hartford in August.

Cool. well any version sounds better than the accoustic version whats in my head!!

Sambo-Chris 10-01-2003 11:33 AM

The version they played in Hartford wasn't acoustic. It was a slow version of it. Like Prayer 94 of Prayer original.

Cool, i am very curious now. But JBJ sucks, he could put a few These Days songs on it, plus that there are too much ballads on it!

Simon 10-01-2003 12:19 PM

Oh oh.......

The cover is excellent, but the tracklist a dissapointment. I thought they'd make it real this time... I was hoping for something from These Days, the title track maybe. But why Bad Name???????? Even if it works acoutically, I don't see ANY reason to drop These Days instead. Why the hits we've heard a thousand times????????

When you look at the acoustic setlists from the last tour, they played very cool stuff like Living in Sin or Mystery Train or Soemthing to believe in. Why o why?

At least they put Always on it and The Distance on the international version. And yes, Bed of Roses is on it. I've never heard KTF acoustic before so I'm curious. If it all works I'm ok, but I lose a bit of trust in the band. Is it for us fans or "the public"?????

But... if they canged all the songs so dramatically that they sound like new songs... maybe then it works? Surprise surprise (I'm still excited)

Mousebounce 10-01-2003 12:24 PM

I am disappointed. They are the same songs that they play year after year at each concert. Of course they may sound different, but in the end it is STILL the same old stuff. I would have liked to seen a few songs from each album. That would have been cool. :(

Kattitude 10-01-2003 12:45 PM

I think its what I expected it would be. I mean the songs I would LOVE to see on it never had a chance in hell of making it. Most of them exist on the these days album.

I hope they have managed to do something great with the songs they chose!

Kat

kety 10-01-2003 12:52 PM

many greats song are missing.... :(

Jonny Sambora 10-01-2003 01:17 PM

So much for the covers we were going to get! Seems they just see this album as a way of getting over the 100 million mark, hence Prayer, Always, Bad name. Not a very daring Track list.

Though I will get it obviously!!

RichieW2001 10-01-2003 01:19 PM

.....wait for the boxset for the 'rarities'. This is just an acoustic greatest hits.
