The best (post-2000) "vanilla" set list

I think this one is definitely a contender:

1. You Give Love A Bad Name
2. Raise Your Hands
3. Lost Highway
4. Because We Can
5. That's What the Water Made Me
6. It's My Life
7. Runaway
8. What About Now
9. We Got It Going On
10. Keep The Faith
11. Amen
12. Bed Of Roses
13. I'll Be There For You
14. Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars
15. We Weren't Born To Follow
16. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
17. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
18. Wanted Dead or Alive
19. Who Says You Can't Go Home
20. Bad Medicine

Encore:
21. (You Want To) Make A Memory
22. In These Arms
23. Born To Be My Baby

Encore II:
24. Have A Nice Day
25. Livin' On A Prayer

Encore III:
26. Blood On Blood
27. I Love This Town

While there are absolutely no rarities even in the encore, the quintet ITA/BTBMB/HAND/Prayer/BOB alone would make me cream my pants these days (no pun intended). Plus the double-shots IML/Runaway and BOR/IBTFY, in addition to the electric version of Saturday Night, are something I'd ejaculate over (even if it would happen in public) with pride. Bloody hell, I miss the good old days (2013)...

This one's pretty good (at least in comparison to the snoozefest sets we've been getting on the THINFS tour so far) as well:

1. You Give Love A Bad Name
2. Raise Your Hands
3. Runaway
4. Lost Highway
5. Because We Can
6. That's What The Water Made Me
7. It's My Life
8. Whole Lotta Leavin'
9. What About Now
10. We Got It Goin' On
11. Keep The Faith
12. Amen
13. Bed Of Roses
14. I'll Be There For You
15. We Weren't Born To Follow
16. Who Says You Can't Go Home
17. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
/ Start me up
18. Bad Medicine
/ Roadhouse Blues

Encore I:
19. In These Arms
20. Wanted Dead Or Alive
21. Have A Nice Day
22. Livin' On A Prayer

Encore II:
23. Always

And this:

That's What The Water Made Me
You Give Love a Bad Name
Raise Your Hands
Lost Highway
Whole Lot of Leavin'
It's My Life
Because We Can
What About Now
We Got It Goin On
Keep the Faith
Amen
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
Diamond Ring
(You Want to) Make a Memory
Born to Be My Baby
We Weren't Born To Follow
Who Says You Can't Go Home
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (w/Jumpin' Jack Flash, Taking Care of Business & Start Me Up)
Bad Medicine

Encore:
In These Arms
Runaway
Have a Nice Day
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Livin' on a Prayer
Blood On Blood
Always

EDIT: I don't consider BOB, Always and Diamond Ring to be so rare (even in the USA) that they would really change a predictable set into a special one. I'd call the latter two sets, as someone has described these kinds of sets here sometimes, "very tasty vanilla". And I assume we'd all probably give our kidneys for anything like those sets this year.

EDIT 2: Please note, all three sets got performed in the USA on the BWC tour, indeed...

Are we talking as a casual fan or a hardcore one that has seen them 20+ times?

A hardcore one.

Hard to judge for me because I've seen them 11 times in Germany between 2003 and 2011 and have gotten some killer sets for diehard fans.
However, the shows in Munich 2008, 2011 and 2013 had long, but vanilla setlists by our standards. And they were all decent, but nothing to write home about. Then again I just might've been spoiled by concerts like Munich 2003, Frankfurt 2008, Dresden and Mannheim 2011 and Cologne 2013 :D

I think it depends on what you want out of the band. If you're seeing them multiple times per tour that setlist would bore me because a lot of those songs get played every tour. If the passion, emotion and energy is put into those songs then it wouldn't be bad!

Oh-no-no.

You skip that Bad Name and move it somewhere else.

And start BOOM BOOM BOOM with "Raise Your Hands" like they did EXACTLY 31 years ago today on July 23rd 1986:

Gotta love that entrance by mr. Bongiovi too.

And DIG that recording, its as good as it gets on 80s bootlegs!!
