Yeh, i know :shock: what am i goin on about but think...cast ur mind back to '83/84 when a 'good looking' bunch of guys decided to form a commercial pop rock band and sing about girlfriends dates and proms.. they all played their own instruments (not always live back then) and hit the big time by sailing in to the charts with their catchy choruses and simple lyrics...
Busted, as much as i loathe them, are as close to a new bon jovi as we get.. and if they are around in 5-10yrs you never know they might actually turn out good and end up touring the world..before releasing thier greatest hits with a twist! :lol: :? :roll:

only that Bon jovi were playing at Monsters Of Rock and Busted play at THE DOME....i don't even know how you come up with this.
Bon Jovi were always singing Live in the early 80s...Bruce Springsteen jammed with Jon ....they sold about 3 000.000 without RADIO and ,only touring.....
do you really think you can compare them...let's face it.
Nobody will know BUSTED in 3 years....

i think this is a fair point. however, busted need a massive second or third album which is purely rock and not pop or otherwise the comparison is unjusitifed.

as for singing live. bon jovi mimed on almost every show they did at the beginning. not the fault of themselves, but the tv shows.

Don't make me laugh. they are a boy band with guitars (do they even play or r they for show?). the closest band to jovi today would be mmmm, none really spring to mind.

prior to common opinion the guys from busted are actually extremely talented, can and sometimes do play live and can harmonise brilliantly with each other.

yeah its a shame to say they are fairly talented, like iv said before, iv met the guys, cant say i like em but got no real reason to hate them

actually, to add to this, they are good unplugged. the songs are still poor though. they have a nice little niche in the market though so fair play to them.

don't play their own music where? in the studio they do and out of the studio there a lot of restrictions on doing a full 'live' performance hence most bands doing a plyback recording.

you clearly havnt read the thread as they DO play thier own instruments, originally BJ didnt play thiers when they did TOTP with livin on a prayer and tracks like that...

OMG dont even say that! Busted are and never will be like BJ. they are a boy band who will be around no longer then 3 years, people will soon get fed up with them. u can not compare them with jovi, no way.

Well they would have 2 do a really good album 4 me 2 even consider there gonna be like jovi, atm as far as im concerned they are one of the most annoying bands about.

I haven't commented on their music, have I? But seriously, in the US this group is not that known.

they came out in the UK last year. they try to mix guitars with catchy melodies. the music isn't too poor but the lyrics are dire.

:shock: Jeeez Louise, when i started this thread it was just for the craic and now we got a few ppl taking it a bit too seriously! It was just that my sister said to me when ever Busted came on the tele and i groaned ''oh god, not them agen'' she said but wot where Jovi like when they first came out? they were poprock with catchy chorus written by teenagers for teenagers and the girls liked them and they played their own instruments. And i went ''ahh, but...but...'' and i was kinda stumped! i ended up saying ''well at least Jovi had a decent lead guitarist'' and quickly vacated the room :oops:
