I think we can safely assume that the acoustic set won't return anymore, the biggest questions are: will Lower The Flag be played or American Reckoning? Roller Coast or maybe In These Arms? Again a second encore with I'll Be There For You and Jon leaving the stage during the band's outro?

I think this should be one tour leg to stand alone. I would hate for them to continue a tour when Jon's voice sounds so awful! I keep reading he has a vocal coach what on earth is that voice coach doing? His voice sounds worse than ever!

That does read like the last of these dates will be it.

To be fair Jon's vocal coach can only do so much with the minimal vocal capacity Jon has left. I guess since Jon's cords are so frail and damaged that his vocal coach can only help Jon find ways to get through songs even if it turns into a complete whinny shout fest.

The days of a miraculous vocal recovery for Jon are long gone, the 2008 vocal recovery won't ever happen again, at this point Jon's voice is way beyond the point of no return.

This guy seems to think his voice could be helped, but doesn't seem to think that Jon would put in the effort needed to do it.

Arrived in Houston now, hopefully after a few days rest they can deliver. Hoping for a couple of different songs

After hearing Wanted, I can see why. That was rough. Crowd sang first verse/chorus.
Interested to see the final set.

And it looks like the track wasn't turned on at 1:08, what was that all about.

No way Jon had a voice to sing the song like that and walk around the stage.

Notice how he is Keeping his hand and mike really high to hide his mouth as well.

Gobsmacked if the whole track was mimed.

And he sings to Tico, the 300s on the left and right sides... Anyone but the front few rows. A little over acting. Wow. He must have been having a really rough night

I would've asked for a refund either way, had I been there, but this is unacceptable. Jon is a fraud.

Just watched it and I'm inclined to agree about it being a lipsync - he was way too comfortable and it was all in tune.

If Jon is gonna start lip syncing ‘Prayer’ then he might as well include the chorus and key change in his playback track, if he’s gonna mime might as well go all in.

Jon fully miming’Prayer’ definitely is a sign that the end is near for this band, before you know it future shows and tours will be completely mimed😨

Wow this was so awkward to watch. Looks and sounds like lip-syncing to me too. His movements and demeanor seem really off and unnatural and the vocals are way too strong, consistent and on key for him to have pulled them off with such ease while walking and jumping around like this. (Which feels really sad to say, to be honest.)

the end is nearly upon us, it's been a fun ride but this is painful to watch...

It must be really painful for jon but lip syncing should not be an option...
After all thse years, many many great shows, he must face the truth,

It's likely that the whole playback track of Prayer must've come from either a soundcheck or the 3 week long rehearsals they had before the tour.

I'm somewhat curious if Jon maybe has other playback tracks stored away on Obie's computer which is probably hooked up to the PA system to act as plan B if Jon's voice suddenly stops working.

American Reckoning... not sure if you've seen it but he gives up on the harmonica and throws it.

You wanted miming, there you have your miming. Now he has become a total scam. You're not going to a show with live music, you're just going to see a star shake her ass.

Always looking for ****ing perfection, and that doesn't exist, he should have embraced his flaws, lived with it, and make the best performance within his limitations, and even if it was bad, it would still be better than lipsync.

Man that is sad. Hope that was a one night thing. I noticed his voice get warmed (kinda better if I can say so) the last night's, but that Prayer was shocking as hell.

KTF keeps it real at least. With all the flaws and imperfections THIS is a perform, THIS is the real thing. It's far from great, but it's LIVE.

Apparently Jon had IV’s done in Houston, according to a fan who had a photo with him. You can see the plaster on his arm

This photo apparently was taken yesterday. Jon seems to have gotten so sort of injections due to the bandage on his right arm.

That was so hard to watch. I am certain this won’t be the norm. I think he’s sick, and/or blown out what’s left of his voice, and felt this was his only option. The crowd wants prayer… I’m sure it killed him to do that. I have friends going to the Dallas and Nashville shows, I hope he’s better by then.

Id respect Jon a lot more if he came out after this tour, admitted his voice was shot and he had to mime a few so its time to call it a day.

But while theres people buying tickets, saying theres nothing wrong other than an off night and people like Jerry are tweeting saying its the best hes ever heard i think it carries on a bit longer.

Be interesting to see ticket sales if they announce more shows

So from what's being discussed on Twitter from some sources I trust, this tour wasn't supposed to happen and was for Live Nation to make up for the cancelled run in 2020. It sounds and feels like an obligation like Burning Bridges they had to go along with to keep contracts happy. Don't know much more.

That was my theory a couple of weeks ago and someone replied "it doesn't work like that with touring" [emoji23]
