But the fuel is way cheaper than in The Netherlands for example (hell I live in the second most expensive country when it comes to fuel :() and in the supermarkets prices are about the same. Camping is actually pretty cheap. It's just the alcohol that's way overpriced ;). But I guess it's not that bad if you're from the Netherlands were living standards are comparable to Sweden.

Same here. Everyone had told me Sweden was so expensive! But it's cheaper than the UK for instance, and not that much more expensive than Spain after all. Some things were even cheaper: ice creams, some food...
