Well I just got a pop UP that locked the screen with a "chat with Emma" prompt and an OK button. Had to ctrl/alt/delete and end browsing session. And now have a pop UNDER ad with voluptuous cartoon women and "waiting for you to make us happy" prompt. At least it was easily closed.
Anyway, thanks ADMIN for giving us a week without the ads to discuss the new album. Guess nothing good lasts forever and it's time to say farewell to this site before I accidentally click on something and download spyware, a virus or something worse. :( |

I've got the pop-ups back since they were switched back on, but, so far touch wood, nothing that has tripped my anti virus. (and very easily closed) Thank you JTAdmin for listening and trying a different ad provider. |

Seems the problems are back again, for the past 2 weeks, whenever I have logged into the site, or even just opened the page prior to loging in, My Avast Anti Virus goes beserk, and throws up a message saying "We've safely aborted connection to Coinhive.com because it is infected with JS:Miner-C (Trj).
This only comes up when I browse onto this site. The popunders are not a major problem, as they can be closed easily, but the above is annoying as avasts warning is Loud! Can someone please look into this, as I assume it's a page that tries to open alongside, or underneath DC. EDIT - Will try to capture a screenshot but popup from avast doesn't stay on screen long enough for me to capture it at mo! |

Screenshot Re my post above.

Instead of having to close 2 notifications I now have to close 6 or 8 notifications from Malwarebytes (per click). The site is almost unusable - which I guess is the point.
|
I just renewed my paid subscription and I still get ads
In fact, I think I'm not even accessing as a "premium" user Who checks this? |

The issues with malware warnings should be fixed as well. And maybe with them the problematic ads. |
There are wayyyyyyy too many ads on this site. Someone needs to clean this up

Once again every turn of page is triping my antivirus, sometimes 2 or 3 times on the same page! I don't know if you've switched to a new ads srver, because this has only arisen since yesterday, but once more the site is becoming unusable, as I had 32 virus alerts whilst trying to read the thread for last nights show (on an 8 page thread!)
Can't provide screenshots right now, but for example - zpzsdmpvqudhsv.com is infected with url:mal, is one of the many warnings I've had from Avast this morning. ecvladelayk.com is infected with url:mal being another. EDIT - seems to be the same two pages repeatedly trying to load, and being blocked by my antivirus, as 32 times in an 8 page thread (and 10 whilst trying to type this message!) means theres something about those sites that antivirus don't like! |
Another day another bad page - ligabklr.com infected with url:mal. Can we please sort this out, as it's become impossible to navigate the site with my antivirus going berserk each time i turn the page!
|
I don't get ads. I'm pretty much an inactive noob who mosty just reads. But I never see any ads.
|
I've been using this for years...
http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm Download hosts.zip, extract the files, open 'hosts' folder containing extracted files, right-click on mvps.bat and select 'run as administrator', then a blue dialogue box will open. Press any key, then all of the bad connections are blocked forever. Update once in a while by re-downloading updated hosts.zip file on the site. K, bye. Edit - that's for a windws os. |
Will give it a go! thanks for the heads up!!

Sadly not made a differene - todays bad connection is yasnxwjtbx.com infected with url:mal.
Admin can you please sort this out, everyday now a different popup or redirection is being blocked when i visit this site by Avast. I've checked my pc to be sure it is this site, and, as my lappy is clean of any nasties, and it is ONLY this site that causes this problem, sumit is clearly not right with your ad providers!! |

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but the only way I can use this forum is with the Tapatalk app on my iPhone. Then there are no ads.
Certainly cannot view this forum on my PC. Too many ads pop up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
My anti virus program detected malware from these ads. Anyone else here experienced the same thing?

If you read up the thread this has been reported by many people but nothing has been done about it. |
Starting yesterday, my antivirus has acted up every time I get a backgroud pop up...
