Just like to add, I heard the full version of this for the first time since last Christmas today, and if that's not Richie playing the outro solo, I'll eat my own face

Yeah, it sounds like RS's phrasing

No, it's a band song. It was released as a single under the bands' name back in 1995. I know some CD's a singles refer to Jon Bon Jovi when it comes to this song, but it is a band song and probable recorded during the Cross Road / These Days sessions. However, not every band member is present on the recording too, but I can't remember who is and who isn't.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I think it was recorded during the Keep the Faith era. Jon and the boys performed I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas on An Evening With.

According to the liner notes, it's not Richie. Guitar is credited to Don Felder and Tim Pierce.

Well I put the CD single into my PC last week and it connected and got the info for the songs, and it listed it all as being Bon Jovi playing and doing the vocals and things.

Not....neccisarily. It appears they used the set during rehearsals to film the promo video. I don't think they actually did the song during it. At least as far as I know.

wich of the two songs is on the KTF single then?

And while were talking non-band performances on a BJ cd, isnt' there another song somewhere wich did not include bandmembers (not real life), maybe Letting you go?

Letting you go had Jon playing keyboards and a drum machine in place of Tico, so maybe it's the one you're thinking of. There have been plenty of b-sides with Bobby on it.
