Interesting! That will upset a lot of labels, but I think it's a good move. I always felt like it was cheating their way to number one...
I think it will be really interesting to see where the band actually charts without people having the album forced upon them... EDIT: It seems that they can still offer it as part of ticket sales, but you have to manually redeem the CD and only redeemed CDs will count towards the chart, I wonder what percentage are actually redeemed? |

Well, here is something positive for the change in current music, since many artists who try to emerge are devoured by artists from the industry who are commercial trash driven by the great majors. This will level the game, and possibly change the state of the current music for new and promising talents.
About the end of the numbers 1 regarding BJ, I will only say that ... never underestimate Jon regarding the business. |
