One Wild Night Tour, Cardiff 2001

Hey everyone.

I'm writing a blog about all the many gigs I've been to over the last 30 years, and I've written a post about seeing Bon Jovi in Cardiff in 2001.

I'd love you to check it out and let me know what you think.

Cheers

Keith

Good read.

I was at the one wild night tour in MK Bowl and cant remember for the life of me who the support was!

Supports were the same in MK as Cardiff.

Good read, shame it was good enough to not make you go bad to any of the following gigs. Especially now as it wouldn't compare at all.

It's nice to read snapshots of a single gig being as one moment in time rather than part of the larger picture especially as that's the way as fans that's how most of us experience it.

It reminds me of doing Milton Keynes on that tour, and just wondering whatever happened to the venue, it just doesn't get used anymore.

Cardiff 2001 could have been my first Bon Jovi concert but I think I had an exam the next day (I was only 14 at the time) so I wasn't allowed to go.

A friend of mine at the time called me that night as he had a spare ticket. I still have some MP3's of that show.

Got to see them in Hyde Park in 2003 in the end though. :)

Isnt someone playing there next year?Might be wrong but sure I read that somewhere.

Its a good venue but you need the weather.

In 96 it was raining and windy all day and the sound went up and back down the motorway!
In 01 again it was raining but luckily the wind and rain stopped a few hours before they came on.
In 05 I saw Green Day there and it was the hottest day in the UK for about 10 years - it was so hot I had about 10-15 pints and only went for a wee once at the end - I must've sweated the rest out.
