My favourite songs are The show must go on (makes me shiver everytime), Breakthru (great rythm) and I want it all (what a power).
As album versions, I don't like Under pressure and Another one bites the dust very much, but I think they are amazing.
And concerning to the tribute concert, it makes me nearly cry listening to Bryan May singing Too much love will kill you.

And you're right, Bryan has such a great individual guitar sound like no one else has.

And John Deacon is the first bass player where I can say: This is a great bass player! I'm used to that bass player always just play one single tone. But his fingers are running all the time and he's really talented.

I don't like them that much, I don't see the beauty in Bohemian Rapsody except for being it a good karaoke song.

For me Bohemian Rapsody isn't my favourtite song, but its a really interesting song. I love the combination of a a ballad and hard rock. And I think at the tribute concert Elton John and Axl Rose are a great combination for that song.

Elton's performance was just boring until Axl appeared on stage, he made the entire performance a lot better. He also was the perfect person to sing that part.

A lot of people can't sing Queen songs. Seal was terrible, although he is a good singer. The only one that was good that night was George Michael.

To answer the original question, Queen was my first love, been a fan for close to 20 years. Unfortunately never saw them live but I have met Brian and Roger.

The reason may be that the songs are sung quite high.
Maybe Jon (back in 92 in his best years) could have sang some songs in a great way. But I think Bon Jovi had never anything to do despite the London gig in 90 where Bryan May was with them at the allstars show.

The tribute show is/was a great idea, but with the exception of a copule of performers, the singers were awful. Check out Robert Palmer's version of Innuendo- not on the official VHS/DVD, its that bad.

The Wembley 86 DVD is great, but the Milton Keynes 82 DVD, set for a November release, will be even better. The energy of that show is amazing- better than the Wembley show, which is just a standard Magic Tour show (Mannheim is a vastly superior show)

Brian has played with Jovi in 1988 and 1993 (I think)- and Jon sent a message that was broadcast in the Live Concert when aired in 1992.

The thing is, although BR is one of my fave Queen songs theyve done loads more classic songs from outstanding ballads like save me, friends will be friends and who wnats to live forever to brilliant rock anthems songs like Now im here, seven seas of rye, we will rock you and we are the champions to mention a few.

I'm a Queen fan myself, I prefer their 70's stuff though most of my fave songs are off their first greatest hits.

The songs aren't that high, Freddie just had an incredible range and go from very low to very high. Not many people can do that with their voice. I think at the tribute show, people tended to pick songs they liked rather than songs they could sing.. there are enough "easier" Queen songs around!

Btw.. Bo Rap has never been one of my favourites.. I love the history behind it and it is a great song to sing (especially after a few pints) but there are so many more songs that I think are better.
