You don’t need to register. When trying to access the song on an iPad, I just get redirected to some dodgy spammy sites. Finally got it to work on my phone (android).

Very short clip but sounds good to me.

There has to be others in circulation somewhere... There will be a day when it all gets out... If CD sales didn't suck, we'd probably be on box set 8 by now...

As far as Butterfly Hurricane goes, based on my three second listen, it just fits in with all the other This House bonus tracks... Just another title with that same Production sound as all the others... no real edge...

However as a fan and collector, it's my goal to get it all... The title is somewhat different which is cool (not saying the title is necessarily cool)...

With other mini leg of the tour coming and another year with a new album, I'm hoping for something to be released... Jon promoting an albums that's already two and half years old wouldn't be realistic and he's so fixated on not being nostalgic, I can't see Jon going to Australia and Japan with nothing new to promote under his belt...

Mmm, this is great, so there is more recent material, well, add to this song Rage of Angels and All We Are and Jon could re-release the album with some new bonuses, again.

Same place we'd be without him constantly pointing out that Richie thinks with his dick and, consequently, has produced nothing but garbage since he left the band. ;)

Which doesn't stand to reason, if you think about it. Assuming that Richie is like most of the humans who are missing that itty-bitty piece of the 2nd X chromosome, he's probably been thinking with that particular appendage since he hit puberty; and that didn't seem to keep him from coming up with some pretty decent "garbage" at various times over the last 45 years or so.

(Or maybe he thinks Richie wasn't a horndog in his 20s - y'know, back when he and Jon wrote the songs for that top-notch album that's 30 years old today!) :D:p

I would like to hear whole hurricane butterfly, there is always some excitement for a new song.

I think it's a good time for a new songs collection from the vault.

Maybe Jon play an acoustic version of Hurricane Butterfly on the next Runaway Tour show, it would not be the first time something similar happens.

When has Jon ever played old unreleased tracks live?

I do not think Hurricane is so old, it may be part of something that is to come.

Not running, Old habits, Reunion, was played before the launch. Also others like Older, Hush or Lifes Too Short For Days in the nineties.


I still think that something new have to offer for the next year or maybe for this Christmas?

I hope some fan asks about Hurricane Butterfly and about a possible release of new music in the Q & A of the show.

Why would Jon play it live? To satisfy the requests of fives of people who even know it exists? It was a demo that leaked and we're not supposed to have it, sometimes that's all there is to it.

It is possible, but we are fans, and curiosity is still in the air, at least for me. Only 20 seconds were filtered. I want to listen to those songs that did not reach the album and I believe that I am not alone with this thoughts.


EDIT: Also, maybe this is silly, but I tried to upload this fragment to youtube and it was erased very quickly, this has not happened on other occasions like Burn With Me and other leaks, so I'm assuming that maybe there's a plan to launch it officially and UMG's rights protection acts to block it.

I don't think Jon wants to die with all those unreleased songs in the vault... I think there is a plan to get some more stuff out but it's just a matter of how and when... Bruce is great at releasing demos... He even released basement demo type songs a couple of years ago... Jon will take note and follow in his footsteps one day..

He might be saving it all for retirement or just the right time to market or satisfy a record company requirement but we will get it all one day... just a hunch obviously but an educated one based on being a fan for 35 years.

Jon's saying a new album could come out next summer. There's hope and there's delusional hope. There's just no market right now for unreleased (or even released) Bon Jovi songs right now :(
