Not a single ticket bought so far this year.

Was gonna see hey hello and Wildhearts but I can't make it.

Sambo-Chris 03-09-2014 04:39 PM

samboraisgodUK 03-20-2014 04:09 PM

Went to see Matt Nathanson last night in Manchester - absolutely fantastic, would recommend to anyone. Not only is his voice great but his crowd interaction was the best I've seen from anyone, he was genuinely hilarious, everyone in the crowd was really belly laughing.

Peterson 03-25-2014 03:03 PM

Went to see One Republic in Glasgow on saturday and saw Daughtry in Manchester on sunday.

Both great gigs, and were both bands ive wanted to see for ages! So win win ;)

Thunderstrucker 03-25-2014 08:00 PM

I've seen One Republic as support act for Bon Jovi back in 2010 in Paris. Great band and I was stunned by the vocal abilities of their singer. Very pleasant support act.

I salute you,
TS

Yeah, he's a brilliant singer/ frontman. Also a decent songwriter, quite a lot of songs in the charts have come from his pen. Beyonce and Adele to name just a couple!

Also just bought tickets for the Fray in glasgow this sept ;)

That's inflation for you, lol. Nuno Bettencourt is one of ny favorite guitarists and so entertaining to watch. Love his solo stuff too.

Went to see Heavens Basement two weeks ago. Third time seeing them now and they were excellent. Much better band than they were when they supported Bon Jovi in 2008 (Pretty much a new band now, though)

Got to meet the guitarist and lead singer after the show and the guitarist told us a cool story about how they got onto the Bon Jovi support slot.

I recommend giving the album 'Filthy Empire' a listen.

asok80 04-09-2014 03:58 PM

Beginning of this year I was complaining about my ticket box being empty....

now I have:

Håkan Hellström (our Swedish Bruce)
3 Richie shows in Germany
Pearl Jam
Sebastian Bach

Pretty good summer so far...

Sambo-Chris 04-09-2014 08:36 PM

Added Richie in Cologne

Ricky Skywalker 04-14-2014 09:40 AM

My tour had already 7 stops this year, and now my ticket box is still full of tickets :D

In 2 weeks, I'm going to Prague to see Robbie Williams (April 26th). Next stop - Reckless Love in Warsaw (May 5th). But June would be the most epic month - maybe even in my whole life... :D I'm gonna start with Kee Marcello (June 1st - though ticket for that one is not yet booked...). Then I'm taking a long vacation to see Aerosmith in Łódź (June 12th), The Rolling Stones in Vienna (June 16th) and Richie/Ori shows in Munich and Berlin (and maybe Stuttgart, too...) :D

For July - I'm planning to go to Masters Of Rock festival in Vizovice, Czech Republic - there would be Sebastian Bach, Krokus, Sabaton, Civil War, Helloween and lots of other epic bands playing :)

Walleris 04-16-2014 08:44 PM

Pinkpop 2014 for Saturday only, headlined by The Rolling Stones

So pumped, still can't believe I'm going to see the Stones!!!:onfire:

John Mayer is also on the bill, which already makes it a stacked lineup in my book. Life is good :)

Thanks Becky - as of now I have to see them separately unfortunately. I take what I can get lol

So jealous of the shows so many of you have within budget and travel options. Please share reviews so I can live vicariously. But, I have broken down and decided since I've never seen him - was a bit young for the Beatles and don't remember Wings being near me - to catch McCartney this tour. Just to say I've seen him, he is a legend after all. Break out the plastic.

Oh, if you're into Beatles, I'm sure you will love Paul live! Saw him myself 4 years ago at Hyde Park. Still one of my favorite gigs ever, worth every penny :)

Speaking of this topic, has anyone here seen The Black Keys live? They've just announced a show in Amsterdam, so I'm entertaining an idea (a friend of mine is a fan), but I'm only getting into them (started recently with Turn Blue, great album!), but their older stuff hasn't clicked as much yet. Do they put a great show? (besides what I can see on YouTube).

steel_horse75 07-10-2014 09:17 AM

Saw Extreme last night do Pornograffiti in full.
Betterncourt is a guitar wizard. Amazing. Best guitarist I've seen live without doubt.

Dave 1986 07-10-2014 10:31 PM

Hope you enjoyed it. I was desperate to go to either that or Leeds but the timing of the sale of tickets was horreondous.

Jim Bon Jovi 07-13-2014 03:07 AM

I did, one of the best shows I've been to. Well worth the money and the 3 hour train ride!
