I saw them supporting Matchbox Twenty at Wembley Arena then at Birmingham Academy on the Songs About Jane tour and they were excellent. Loads better than expected, and there was plenty of jamming going on.
The only thing that threatened to ruin it was a dodgy Oasis cover at the end.
That first album was brilliant, particularily if you find the original versions (not the re-issue UK one). The songs sound a lot more raw, and check out the sax solo on 'Sunday Morning'.
As for the 2nd album, i can't stand it!! a real disappointment. It's too glossy, the songs are waaaaaay over-produced. On record they don't sound like a 'band' anymore, if you get me? I much preferred the raw live feel of the first record and i hope they go back to that as it suits them much better.
Again, class live act though.
