David Bryan PODCAST (Dean Delray)

Notice he said Richie was in rehab THREE times. We know about the times during LH and GHs but when was the third? He also answers the question people ask when Jon says that "Dave really stepped up and filled that void Richie left behind" Dave's final words in the interview: "I wish Richie the best and I hope he finds the light" |
Great interview. I don't hear long interviews with Dave very often. He was very candid. He even said they would have been dropped if Slippery didn't go Platinum.

That last quote is very telling. The HOF was probably the last time they saw each other. During Richie's speech he sounded off his tits, but that could've also been nerves. This quote suggest it wasn't. |

In my opinion David has a big problem with Richie. He didn't gave him any credit and made it look like he was completely irresponsible. He tried to sound nice when he talked about Richie but I got the feeling that that wasn't the truth.
Also at the hall of fame the biggest tension i noticed was between David and Richie. I think he likes the role which he has now with a bit more to say the band. |
I think David is kinda a cold guy in general, that’s all. He revealed too many things in that podcast, I don’t know if JBJ would be too happy about it.

I find it strange why David wasn't brought to the session for Runaway if he was the one who wrote the main riff. Even more, how can you not get a writing credit for it? Without it it's really not Runaway tbh.

One of the bigger revelations is that both Hugh and Alec sang the gang vocals on Let It Rock.

my favorite thing of this whole podcast has to be that "you know I've never had a music emergency!" lol
ops sorry if there any doctor here |
