The official columbian press release from the is available online and it doesn't say heroin. If websites are reporting it, they are straight up lying for hits. Probably the british press doing what they do best....
The official report only says "Preliminary results of the urine toxicology test indicate the presence of 10 different substances: THX (Marihuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids among others."
Marijuana speaks for itself, Tricuclic are anti depresents as it says, benzodiazepines are often for insomnia and/or anxiety, and opiods are for pain relief, which Drummers often need. I know a drummer that literally rattles he's on so many prescription drugs, all for genuine reasons, some drumming related, some not. He doesnt touch hard drugs.
Not saying that there wasn't other things involved, but at the moment we don't know. Anything else is just speculation or bad journalism.
