So this is their official slogan: "You deserve a vacation, why not make it a trip to remember with your favorite artist..."

There's not enough money in the world to get me to go on one of these godforsaken cruises. I cannot fathom why anyone would pay to do one of these trips, let alone pay the outrageous amounts they are charging. I'd hurl myself overboard within the first day (or the moment JBJ starts 'singing').

YOVANAfromPeru 08-04-2019 01:10 AM

I've never been in a cruise, but I always had fascination for boats... lol

Yes I would have to say I'm in the same boat that you are LOL. No amount of money would convince me to do this.

‪They got this list to choose for the karaoke, wishful thinking it’s no indication of the set list:‬
You Give Love a Bad Name
Who Says You Can't Go Home
Bad Medicine
Born to be My Baby
In These Arms
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
We Got it Going On
Livin' on a Prayer
It's My Life
Wanted Dead or Alive
I mean if I go to a karaoke I would sing Keep The Faith, These Days, etc.

YOVANAfromPeru 08-05-2019 05:13 AM

Speaking of Karaoke, JBJ singing Prayer over the original track... (last night Apollo in the Hamptons), stories:

Still, best prayer since 2010. haha!

He is singing along to the regular studio version, isn't he?

No I'm excited. Pretty sure at 0:32 to 0:34 I can hear his mid 90's voice coming back. Early 2000's at the least! I can't wait for the next tour....

No, even if i had the money I wouldn't pay to see a washed up rock star try to Sing. His condition will be much more noticeable on a cruise where you don't have 30 000 + people masking his vocal struggles. It'll just be a bad cringe fest.

Didn't you see him last month? Or did you get a ticket for free? :D

I did see him. That's how I see it, if I get the chance, I'll definitely go to see them if they come in Eastern Europe again. But I won't go on a Jon cruise since it'll probably be stupidly expensive. I just prefer the big stadium option because you're there with a lot of other people, you're having a good time singing and everything. The Jovi cruise, I don't know. It's another stupid idea to make more money.

Lucky0003 08-09-2019 04:51 AM

The cruise and Brazil Runaway event are not selling out. Too pricey?

Anyone would say that 350 peeps (Runaway Brazil) and 2,200 peeps (Spain cruise) would be a piece of cake...

YOVANAfromPeru 09-03-2019 08:08 AM

There will be at least one more cruise.

I actually work with cruises in my city… lol, with but not in the cruises so it was a good experience to me to learn more about this cruise business.
I’m not sure if Matt’s new job is going to be beside JBJ other artists or other themes.
And sometimes I think some journalists read this forum before to post about Bon Jovi…

As an experience I would like to do a BJ cruise in the future, but seeing pics from that cruise in Spain,it reminded me why I decided not doing it.
Ive seen many familiar faces of fans I dont like to see during four days.
I used to be at front row queing all night long at tours in the past.
That last tour Ive seen a lot of things I dont like,Im too old for that shit,so I guess in the future I will be back of the gold circle.
Too much sucking up to the BJ crew to earn privileges.
So having to see that people sucking up again during four days....no thankx

Weĺl have more fun together than half of the diamond, golden and vips together.
Nowadays, there is no rock and roll in front rows.
There are just people with money that dont know all the songs and who can go to Bon Jovi or the Cirque du Soleil, just to let know all their social media follorwera that they are there.
With Bruce Springsteen,Bryan Adams,Europe and many other artist, life is the same, the first who arrive to the show are in the front rows.
With Bon Jovi it depends on how much money you have in your bank account.
If you are an ordinary working class people forget to be on front row

bonjovi90 09-04-2019 02:17 PM

From what I've seen in 15 years of concerts, Jovi audiences (especially the pit area) are in general the most unfriendly and unrelaxed ones.

And these cruises are probably filled with the core of just these people.

YOVANAfromPeru 09-04-2019 02:43 PM

yeah, it seems some of them were the same people of the cruise before and Runaway Tours; and A LOT of casuals who only care to party, actually like sirpercy said on the other thread I also saw people talking and leaving the concerts before finished.
I think the concerts should start directly with a rarity (I mean Lost Highway... no thanks!) jijijij
and of course there are also a lot of hits to choose.
No idea where the next cruise could be next time...

I appreciate you've been to loads more BJ shows than I have, but at least in my experience at Wembley in general standing the crowd were great. Very friendly, happy to dance, buying each other drinks etc etc. Maybe I just got lucky.

General standing area is usually much more relaxed, that's why I've seen 9 out of 12 shows from there. It's the fans upfront that are somehow often under the illusion that them being there would make a difference for Jon because they had caught some of his show smiles previously. And they act accordingly.

Sounds like a right pain. I'm tempted to go GC next time if only to see some people I've met on twitter etc, certainly not near the front though.

I don't recommend the front of GC either mate. I HATED it. Too cramped, people with no consideration and it didn't bother .e being 'close' to the band.

I much preferred the shows when I was at the back of GC because I could jump around a lot more and have a bloody good dance. Which I love doing...

Yeah exactly mate, would be great to meet up with people like yourself and Andy etc but I need to be able to move around too

YOVANAfromPeru 09-06-2019 12:48 PM

Front rows are mostly women.
And Xavi, I've read the headline of the Spain's newspaper was: "Devoción en Palma por Jon Bon Jovi".
