I get that these threads shouldn't turn into Richie or political landscape discussions, but in the end, it's Jon who keeps mentioning Richie in interviews on and on and who keeps pointing out the social and political status quo with what he writes about and releases. So it's bound to come up again and again.
Trust me, by the time either the album leakes or Friday comes around, this will have dropped anyway ;)

I agree with you. I am the first one who does not want to bring up this topic, because all this irritates me, my English is poor, and it costs me a lot to express myself in my comments. If I have responded to this, it is because they have forced me somehow, I'm sorry I can't let this kind of thing happen after everything that has happened.

Returning to the thread. It's crazy that the album hasn't been leaked yet. I'm hysterical.

Agreeing with you on this. I do get the feeling that he brings it up more and more on his own though which is kind of strange.
Not trying to derive this thread, just wanted to get some of the wrong facts straightened out and now let's move on to the album which seems to be the first since These Days (?) that doesn't wanna leak before (of course back then it was due to the state of the internet).
I wasn't around for Crush to HAND on fan boards, but they surely dropped a few days earlier on the web as well?

I feel like the majority of the albums leaked at maximum a week or two before but this has to be the closest it's been to release day.

Do you have any source of information since when Richie worked with Jon on the material for the WAN album? We know that Jon has done a lot of solo material that he has released for example promoting the movie. How do you know that Richie has been working with Jon since the beginning and didn't join at the end? Richie is only listed in 5 songs (including bonuses) on 16 tracks from WAN. Not much for a person who has been involved in creating and recording from the beginning. I don't think Richie was involved in WAN recording from the beginning. The only common photo from the recording session I associate is a photo of Jon, Richie and Desmond... It came from the late stage of recording the album. It doesn't seem that what you've written is 100% true, but if you have any source, I'd be happy to know.

There were interviews from both John Shanks, JBJ and Richie Sambora when the album came out, describing the process. I remember John Shanks interview that he was very meticulous with recording and mixing. Richie was more involved than you think. I no longer remember where it was published, but it is true.

Now I tell you, do you have any proof to corroborate otherwise?

I don't have a problem with any of this topic but just because Jon brings it up in promo for the new album doesn't mean it belongs with the discussion of the new album, if that's cool with everyone? If people want to start a thread to talk about it, it doesn't bother me none. Jackie is a great resource of info and collecting of dates so by all means reach out if you want to know more but the guy who isn't in the band anymore doesn't need to be brought up like this in relation to new albums (and that goes for you too Jon)

Fantastic. Thanks! You're right. Topic is over.

I think it would be better if the album did not leak before Friday. I'll have access to the album tomorrow, but I prefer to keep the album in my hand and hopefully I can do it!

At this point there is no official leakage of the record looking at my sources.
