Any idea of the video I am talking about ? It was a good vocal... I dont like the really slow version of Never Say goodbye..

The Hope Concert at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. This year the show was for the benefit of the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank. Bruce wasn't scheduled to appear, although he's done this show in past years.

Thanks for the links Terri - this is the first chance I have had to log in today. Nice to see that Bruce made it too.

Too bad this show was scheduled during your "grown-up" period, Kathleen. ;) This show would have been perfect for you!

Bruce is known so well for his song writing and performing that sometimes people forget to mention that his guitar playing is damn fine too.

I should be wrapping presents, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'm playing on YouTube instead. The videos just keep coming from the Hope Concert last night, so I was inspired to make a YT Guide. Many thanks to Alana for finding and posting a blurb from a Bruce board that included the set list. This is from the beginning of Southside Johnny's portion of the show to the end.

Completely agree! I've been looking for a "new" performance that is excellent for Dry County. There were a few times when lyrics were forgotten -- glad he has worked that out. AND this was when his voice had that seriously great boost last tour.

Always (MTV Studios 1994 - acoustic)

This has been posted before, but it's by far one of my fave performances of this song. Does anyone know if this is Alecs last ever appearances in the band?

Can someone explain what this is?:

The Tube was an innovative United Kingdom pop/rock music television programme, which ran for five series, from November 5, 1982 until 1987.

The Tube was presented live by hosts including Jools Holland, Paula Yates, Leslie Ash, Muriel Gray, Gary James, Michel Cremona, Nick Laird-Clowes and Mike Everitt.

was the denmark show aired professionally all the way through like that? Just seems like a good show but I imagine it was just little segments like that.
