This is absolutely beautiful, Neil. Thanks for posting it and for the link!

Saturday Night is such an amazing song. It's stunning when performed like this . . . but also when presented in the ballsy, defiant way it was done in Amsterdam. Love it.

Panda 02-03-2009 12:57 PM

But you gotta watch all 11 parts to get the full effect. It take about an hour. I love the intamacy..... This is an all acoustic performance from Jon's DA tour.

This is part 1 and the first song, from there you should be able to find the rest.

My son was also at that one and said the screaming was deafening. His ears were ringing for days. He loved the concert, but did want to hear the band more.:):)

I've actually been told that the sound source is not from the same source as the video.

I've always thought that that was one of the band's most underrated songs. Great ballad, pisses all over Bed Of Roses :D

You've got to be joking? Bed Of Roses is probably their most under-rated album, it gets so much stick on this board it's unbelievable.

Bed Of Roses underrated? Ridiculous! So many people talk about it, and, aside from the odd live performance, I can never get into it.

Yeah, but the people on here are real fans, and at least 50% say it's a terrible ballad and stuff. I just can't understand it TBH.

zero_zero_UFO 02-11-2009 08:46 PM

how difficult would it be for Jon or one of his assistants to make sure JBJ has a book with every song he has ever done in it... that way he would know the lyrics :D

LMAO......

Oh, and I'm with KTF2211. Bed of Roses is terribly underrated/overly criticised around here. It's in my top 5 personally.

I think he is just huffing lol.
I like after about 35 seconds into the interview he checks his watch. The interviewer must have thought - oh great!

I didn't like it. Just shows how much of an idiot Jon can be. As much as i like Jon, i hate the way he acts like that. It's the "sure" bit i didn't like.
