I've just realized I shouldn't have called the band KOS since they have no name when there's only 3 or 4 KOS to back up Jon.

Meeting Jon yesterday
 

I wasn't at the show but I did wait by the backdoor of bb Kings with my guitar. An hour later, three security guards showed up and one of them was Matt. Matt told me to get my get my guitar out. Two minutes later Jon pulls up in a white car. He signed my guitar and he told me to follow him. I got a photo with him and shook his hand. He was awesome.

Cool! My mistake then. Most of us assumed there had been none because it wasn't listed in the RT package + the first fan reports fromlast night didn't mention it.
Anyway, I've just had fresh news from a French fan who attended the event, I'm gonna post in the new song thread.

Did he say something about Burning Bridges and a new Album?

Burning Bridges is done to fulfill a commitment with the record company and consists of left-overs form previous albums. He didn't seem too excited about that release.
A new album is in the making or already done and will approx. be released around April / May 2016. He said it turned out great (though he always does).

The snippet of DA is too sport but seems ti me that Jon Was singing better

The gig reportedly lasted a little more than an hour. He must have been started quite early to be able to be at MSG around 8 PM, on some photos you can see it's 6 PM on his watch when he's answering questions and minutes past 6 when he's singing (yeah, I know, I know, I've been watching Columbo too much when I was a kid! :p ).

On setlists, does "Saturday Night" refers to "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" and "Saturday Nite" to blahblahblah "the weekend song or to "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" too?

Seeing Born to Follow as an audible just makes my Monday so much better.

Are there any Videos of the Q&A? I want to hear what he really said. I can´t believe that he doesn´t like the Album

According to people who attended the Q&A he wasn't too happy about the current album. There often is a reason why songs don't make it onto albums and if the record company pushed for a release due to contractual obligations (and a greatest hits was already done) he most likely had to give them something, whether he wanted that or not. We all know that Jon's never been too happy about rehashing the past in terms of putting out older stuff, so don't read too much into that.
On the other hand it was reported that he was VERY excited about the new album that's set to come out early next year and said that "it's a great record!"

Okay, that makes sense.
Btw. is it true, that Burning Bridges will be the last Record with UMG? I read something that he quit the Recordcompany or so...:confused:

And I also read that the new Album will be very different. Did he really say that? And it sounted like it would be the last Album :(:(

As of now, none of these things are confirmed, so it's just a bunch of rumours. Though I hope that the album will be very different. Another WAN might be the final nail in the coffin of me being a fan of this band...

I LOVE this song and think the acoustic setting for performing it is ideal. It's still my favorite song from LH.

Jon is sounding better than the last solo gig. He still doesn't great but it gives me some hope that he can pull off a decent full concert and maybe, just maybe, still be able to do justice to songs like Always, These Days, Saturday Night etc.

Jon's solo at the start of that vid is pretty cool! I hope we get to see more of that Jon with the band next year.

Can somebody tell what Jon is saying at the end--I can't hear him over the audience. He talking about the upcoming tour.

Doesn't say much-- the last 30 seconds he says that no one was in a rush to start the tour sooner, "it'll be like getting to know you kind of again--- 'hello (name?),' 'hello Jon,' 'hello Tico,' 'Hello Jon,' 'then he goes 'remember your just my singer'-- I know, I know, so it'll be good, it'll be good. I look forward to it."
