Album Rankings - 2015
We did this in 2009 and New Jersey was voted the best Jovi album. We did it again in 2012 and These Days took out top spot. Well 3 more years have passed by so I think it will be interesting to do this again. Plus we have What About Now in the mix - it'll be interesting to see where that ranks.
For those unfamiliar with how this works, basically you just rank the Jovi albums from best to worst (giving your favourite 12 points, your second favourite 11 points, etc etc). If you feel that an album isn't worth of any points then you can give it a zero. Each set of points can be used once only and each set doesn't have to be used (i.e you can give 10 points to an album and 8 points to another album, while giving 9 points to no album). Having said that, all the post 2000 albums are quite close for me. SWW and KTF are in a league of their own IMO, closely followed by NJ. |

The bottom 6 was a struggle to rank, as I don't hate any of the albums, but neither to I really listen to them anymore / nor was touched by them at the time of release. |

The bottom two were easy, since they don't do much for me, except for Runaway and 1-2 other tracks. Close call between Crush and What About Now, since I enjoy both very much, but both have filler tracks and I rarely listen to Crush anymore. Same for Slippery, but that's a classic and has Wanted, Prayer and Raise Your Hands ;-) The strongest albums IMO are definitely the top 3 of my list, in addition to LH, which I think, musically, is just brilliant, whether you like the "country" style or not. |

The mid section has its moments, in patches. The bottom 3 stutter... What about now and lost highway are so far removed from the band I grew up listening to that they have to be my least favourite. |

What About Now The top 4 stand out above the rest. I like Lost Highway more than most and appreciate them doing something different (also the last time it felt like they put any heart into an album). Crush, HAND and Bounce change spots based on the day, I have them all pretty equal. Bon Jovi and the Circle are next. The last 2 are well below the rest. |
