The Official September 25 Allianz Parque, São Paulo, Brazil Thread
Setlists, Predictions, Videos, Disappointments, Complaints...
The last time Bon Jovi played in São Paulo was on September 23, 2017, almost exactly 2 years ago from the 2019 show, as part of the São Paulo Trip festival. This show was widely regarded as one of the best shows of the THINFS tour; highlights included the speech Jon gave in the middle of Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Jon working the audience at the end of These Days, and the fact that Whole Lot of Leavin', We Got it Going on, and Captain Crash were all left off the setlist. Let's hope none of those songs are played at the 2019 show, either. 2017 Setlist: 01. This House is Not For Sale 02. Raise Your Hands 03. Knockout 04. You Give Love a Bad Name 05. Born to Be My Baby 06. Lost Highway 07. We Weren't Born to Follow 08. Lay Your Hands on Me 09. In These Arms 10. New Year's Day 11. (You Want to) Make a Memory 12. Bed of Roses 13. It's My Life 14. Someday I'll Be Saturday Night 15. Wanted Dead or Alive 16. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead 17. Have a Nice Day 18. Keep the Faith 19. Bad Medicine ------------------------------------ 20. Always 21. Livin' on a Prayer ------------------------------------ 22. These Days 2019 Setlist: 01. This House is Not For Sale 02. Born to Be My Baby 03. Lost Highway 04. Knockout 05. You Give Love a Bad Name 06. Roller Coaster 07. Whole Lot of Leavin' 08. We Weren't Born to Follow 09. Runaway 10. It's My Life 11. In These Arms [David Vox] 12. Have a Nice Day 13. Keep the Faith 14. Amen 15. Bed of Roses 16. Lay Your Hands on Me 17. We Don't Run 18. Wanted Dead or Alive 19. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead 20. Bad Medicine ------------------------------------ 21. Blood on Blood 22. Livin' on a Prayer |
Only a few hours until showtime. Let's all hope Jon gets to the same insane zone tonight as in 2017! :)
This Saturday Night performance honestly brought me into tears of joy last time around: https://youtu.be/BIl-Kl85Q5w Even with his voice in poor (okay, very poor) shape, Jon Bon f*cking Jovi is still THE best f*cking frontman I know. |

2 years all ready! FS! Where does the time go

I couldn’t go to Recife for “personal reasons” >_< lol; but I could make Sao Paulo so I can’t compare, what can I say about Sao Paulo is that it was a very energetic concert, Born To Be My Baby worked better in the first part of the concert, very happy to hear Knockout (probably the only one good song in the THINFS album, in my opinion)
Of course I think Lost Highway and Whole Lot Of Leaving are on purpose so people can go to buy beer and make more money from it And almost as always, no old rarity; JBJ has said himself “They work everytime” but he only plays Runaway... P.S. Shanks has lost weight. (I can’t help with my shallow comments >_<, lol). |
Same setlist like Recife:
01. This House Is Not For Sale 02. Born To Be My Baby 03. Lost Highway 04. Knockout 05. You Give Love A Bad Name 06. Rollercoaster 07. Whole Lot Of Leavin' 08. We Weren't Born To Follow 09. Runaway 10. It's My Life 11. In These Arms (David Bryan on lead vocals) 12. Have A Nice Day 13. Keep The Faith 14. Amen 15. Bed Of Roses 16. Lay Your Hands On Me 17. We Don't Run 18. Wanted Dead Or Alive 19. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead 20. Bad Medicine Encore: 21. Blood On Blood 22. Livin' On A Prayer |
