Unexpected Bon Jovi songs

I’ve heard a few Bon Jovi songs lately in unexpected places so I was curious what experiences others have had of this. I’m talking about hearing deep cuts in odd places. Obviously you can expect to hear a song like LOAP at a wedding, but what are your weird ones? I’ll start.

A little while ago I was in a McDonald’s in the middle of Sydney CBD and after a few songs from the Top 40 (as you’d expect to hear somewhere like that) If That’s What It Takes came on - and then after it finished right back to Top 40 songs. I just thought that was bizarre.

Anyone have any others?

I was at a show during which Bad Medicine wasn't played.

This 2019 New Year, I went to a very small beach far from all in Lima, first time in this place and there was only one restaurant in the entire place, regular latin music sounding there and then Keep The Faith, then back latin music (definitely odd)
On the other hand, Livin’ On A Prayer always sounds in Brazil airport

In a hotel in Bulgaria, between all the house music, all of a sudden there was Brokenpromiseland. Definitively surprised me :D

Sitting on a patio a few years ago in a Toronto restaurant that plays satellite radio, lot of Top 40 hits then "We All Fall Down".

Czech rock station has a program every day when they play two songs by one band. One is a hit and the other one something unknown. So when BJ were on, they played Hearts Breaking Even (and Keep The Faith).

Sadly, the only songs I hear on the radio here are LOAP, IML and KTF. Hardly unexpected. But then, while I was watching some acoustic gig once, the guy did Love For Sale and I had a blast! So good :D

Amsterdam 2008? Damn, I would've given my left testicle to have been there and seen that show...

About a year ago I remember hearing Superman Tonight on the radio. That station plays a few of Bon Jovi hits on a regular basis, so probably it just stayed on semi-rotation since 2009.

Another occasion, on the same station there is an evening segment where the host spends about 2-3 minutes explaining the meaning of the song by quoting the lyrics etc. and they picked When We Were Us and narrated it as this beautiful nostalgic song about simpler times. It was quite a recent single at the time, so it's less surprising, but to some extent it still is, when featured next to Ed Sheeran, Adele, etc. I made the assumption that the host must be a Bon Jovi fan to know the song in the first place.

Here in NZ we have a homewares store, called Smith's City. They had the entire keep the faith album playing one time. Another time, this is love, this is life. I go there regularly and them two times are the only times I havent heard either mumble rap or Taylor swift/1D type of songs playing.

On our local radio stations, we have quite a few bon jovi songs in rotation. LOAP, YGLABN, WDOA, BOG, IML, KTF, BM (sometimes) BWC, WDYG. As a country, I wouldn't say NZers are really into Bon Jovi, in comparison to Australia. Its nice to hear so many different songs!

Save The World at the local bar. I damn near spilled my beer once I realized which song it was. Can't get my head around that particular song having been chosen for the playlist - they definitely should've put Two Story Town or Next 100 Years there instead...

Also, at least Hearts Breaking Even and Thorn In My Side have been played at a couple other public houses I semi-regularly spend my time (and money...) at :)

Back in 2005 or 06,cant remember well, when I was at the University,I went to a University party.
They were playing current spanish music at the time, and suddenly it started to play Last Cigarrette
I couldnt believe it,I was the only one on the place singing the song hahaha

I was training a client in the gym and all of a sudden 'We Don't Run' started playing. It's part of a Les Mills workout playlist apparently.
