Oh, please, post-These Days BJ is the epitome of blandness. Fahrenheit, not a chance! They were young and still had lots to prove.

I think Crush is alot blander than Fahrehiet can ever be. |
Fahrenheit was better than Bounce and Bon Jovi.
Apart from Tokyo road, In and out of Love and King of the mountain it was lost amoung all the other 80's junk though. Slippery taught them how to make an album that works well as a whole, Bounce has been the only exception to that ethic since. |
I don't hate this album by any means. In fact, the only BJ albums I hate are OWN and TLFR for obvious reasons.
I don't rate 7800 very high in my list because it's lacking an excellent 'classic' track but it has some good tracks. My favorite is Secret Dreams. In and Out of Love is one of BJ's greatest videos ever. Tokyo Road, Silent Night, Hardest Part Is The Night, Only Lonely and Always Run To You are all good songs. The only turds in this album are King Of The Mountain and To The Fire. And I echo the threadstarter's sentiment "just because the band (or JBJ) hates it, doesn't mean you have to". |
I listened to this album again today and realised that I really love it. Tokyo Road, In & Out Of Love, Always Run To You and Only Lonely are brilliant, I would consider it in my top 5. :)
Nothing can ever beat Bounce though, brilliant album ;) |
Anyone except me really like To The Fire then?
Or Price Of Love? I would have thought that'd be a general favourite, but it never seems to come up too much in people's lists |
