Setlists, predictions, disappointments, videos etc.

Last time the band played Philly was just last year, and the only surprise was a short version of The Fighter as an intro to Wanted. That said, it was probably the best US show of the 2017 tour (alongside St. Paul), as while obviously struggling vocally, Jon was full of energy and enthusiasm. The Medicine performance is still one of my favorite moments on this tour:

PS. After the insane set that Allentown got last night, do you think the guys will hold back or pull out all the rest of the stops tonight?

After Allentown's craziness, I predict they will be on autopilot tonight. WGIGO and Sleep will both unfortunately return, and there will be more than one THINFS song. But you never know.

Came from South Carolina to be in Philly tonight! Jon loves Philadelphia and I really hope he pulls out all of the stops tonight! Really hoping for dry county and always or these days (unless Hey God is an option lol)

Just ran into Obie... I said 'hey, how about Hammersmith 90?' he smiled and I said 'how many times have you heard that'.. He said that he's archiving over 1000 tapes right now... I said look, we all want Cadillac Man and We All Sleep Alone' He said he doesn't think he's got a good recording of Cad Man. I said can you give us the Soundboard live? He said those front of the house recordings aren't great (I have no idea what that even means)... I then said, it's better than that shit we have right now (exact words)... I then asked for Red Bank 90. He said he's got all of them and just sent over '91 to Clear Mountain (no idea what that means either)... then I asked for a Sex Sells / Crush double album similar to Sons Of Beaches... He seemed very interested in that... I said don't answer now, but I'm just telling you what we all want... I said we listed over 100 titles of unreleased stuff... He smiled and said I know, I'm archiving it all now...

Take it all with a grain of salt but cool conversation...

Looks like the whole concert is going to be on Periscope again tonight

That means that the sound isn't recorded straight from the microphone/instruments, but the sound that can be heard in front of the stage by the audience is captured on the mixing desk. Similar to the way shows are captured for radio broadcasts.

Bob Clearmountain is a sound engineer, famous for his work on stuff like the Rolling Stones' "Shine A Light" live DVD. I think he also did a remix of I Believe or some other track in 1992/93.
