Trip to New York

So me and my girlfriend are planing to visit NY in september. What do you recommend, what is the best place for booking a hotel, apartment or airbnb ? of course the cheapiest and best way :)

If you want to stay in Manhattan I'd recommend a hotel in Chinatown. AirBnB places are cheaper in Brooklyn or Jersey City. Try to get a location close to the subway.
